IBKR is a real broker. I started with two brokers but decided to drop the other one and use IBKR exclusively. The other broker was not honest, nor secure. However, IBKR has great spreads, and lower fees. The platform can be simple if you use the web version, or complex if you use TWS, but really great for a trader to grow into. I believe this broker is one I can stick with for life. The security at this broker is absolutely awesome! You get a message on your phone to log in by password or thumbprint. Great for those with larger accounts. The assets are ginormous! Definitely use this broker if you plan to make trading a career.

Works well for trading stock. Being able to trade from TV on the chart is very nice. Still lacks the ability to trade Forex and has limited access to IB account info. Would be much better if IB allowed user to log more that once that way one could trade stocks from TV and access IB's options terminal.

I was waiting for IBKR for so long, finally its here. One thing that I am missing is adding stop loss and take profit after the order is placed. Write now we cannot attach bracket after the order is placed. Rest all is working fine.
Thank you for sharing this. When initiating a new position, you can attach a stop loss and profit order within the initial order. But if that initial order has already executed then there is a limitation with TradingView that they currently addressing. This is not an issue if you use IBKR’s trading platforms as you can submit bracket orders at any time. If you are still having issues, please contact us at tradingviewsupport@interactivebrokers.com. I was waiting for this for a very long time! Having Interactive Brokers on trading view was the best thing IB could do for their custommers, TWS is really slow to start and a bit outdated, best choice to me if you look for a future broker or a cash account (not cfd).

Fees and support are excellent. The organisation is very professional but there are some things for them to fix and catch up to. I'm sure these issues will be addressed in some time but at the moment I'm a bit frustrated using their services. The TV integration still is slow and buggy at the moment and I would recommend waiting for a decent fix. I'm sure this has high priority and hopefully will be addressed soon. All the CFD's are not tradeable (yet) on TV. For trading Forex I use CFD's a lot so I can't trade these yet using TV. The CFD range is very limited. There are no CFD's for commonly traded assets like Gold, Silver, Oil, S&P. In order to trade these assets you would require to buy very large future contracts. Their own TWS application is very outdated and the web client has a lot of UI issues. I need to use third party applications for my trading and run into several issues with their API.

Delayed order placing. When modifying an order with brackets, it happens that not all brackets have the same Lot size! Have to double & triple check all orders when creating or modifying! Needs much more improvement to be usable with TV.
