The strange and lucky things about the assassination attempt on Trump.
🔸Before the performance, the Secret Service was supposed to check all possible points from which shooting could be conducted, but this, apparently, was not done.
🔸Eyewitnesses warned the police that a man with a weapon climbed onto the roof of the building before Trump's speech. These calls to attention were ignored.
🔸Shooter. 180 meters with just iron sights is a distance. From such a distance there is no need to correct for wind; what you can buy at the nearest gun store is enough. Most likely, the shooter had very low qualifications, and this is what saved Trump. In addition, it is most convenient to shoot from a lying position, so the shooter either did not prepare at all or prepared minimally.
Pure luck for Trump.
🔸Rifle. If, as they claim, it was a semi-automatic AR-15 with a magazine of 15-20 rounds, then the qualifications of the shooter are revealed even more. With an initial bullet speed of 700-900 meters per second, everything would happen in moments. A total of five shots were allegedly fired. One killed a Trump supporter, the second wounded another one.
So three more: one hit Trump himself, two more went to waste. That is, the shooter had 10-15 rounds of ammunition left, but he did not use them. Either he got scared, or at that moment he was already killed.
🔸A separate issue is the actions of the secret service. The unit's snipers were nearby and should have seen the shooter and neutralized him before the shot was fired, but this was done only after the bullet tore off part of Trump's ear.
