Pomysł zakłada, że kończymy korektę a cena będzie się poruszać w ramach trójkąta zwyżkującego aż do domknięcia luki cenowej. Wybicie trójkąta dołem, będzie negatywnym sygnałem. Natomiast wybicie wykładniczej średniej kroczącej czterdziestopięciosesyjnej pozytywnym sygnałem. Ważnym poziomem wsparcia jest również pięćdziesięcioprocentowe zniesienie Fibonacciego.
