What Is Premium?

Premium is the cost of buying an option.
It depends on multiple factors:

Underlying price

Strike price

Time to expiry

Volatility (IV)

Interest rates

Market demand and supply

If implied volatility is high, premium rises.
If expiry date is near, premium decays faster.
