BREAKEVEN TRADE ON GOLD

I placed a buy order on gold but closed at breakeven I tracked the gold price closely over the following days and noticed it was increasing. I decided to open a long position to take advantage of the potential upside. After I closed the position with a no profit.
No loss no profit , but I'm still thinking about what went wrong. I may need to adjust the order size or take a different approach. I'll figure it out soon.
