Professional Trading MindsetOne of the most important psychological characteristics of winning traders is the ability to accept (1) risk and (2) the fact that you may well be wrong more often than you are right in initiating trades. Winning traders understand that trade management is actually a more important skill than market analysis.

Technical Class 1 #SMC1In finance, technical analysis is an analysis methodology for analysing and forecasting the direction of prices through the study of past market data, primarily price and volume.
Technical analysis is a means of examining and predicting price movements in the financial markets, by using historical price charts and market statistics. It is based on the idea that if a trader can identify previous market patterns, they can form a fairly accurate prediction of future price trajectories.
Option chainAn option chain is a comprehensive list that shows you all available option contracts for a given stock. These are sorted by their expiration date, which is the last day you can trade or use the option, and strike price, which is the price at which you can buy (call) or sell (put) the stock.
An option chain is a valuable tool for traders who want to make informed decisions about their investments. It provides information on the strike price, expiration date, and the price of each option.
Silver DivergenceDivergence and Gold/Silver Ratio
Gold and silver are thought to move together, and often they do. There are periods where the Gold Trust (GLD) and Silver Trust (SLV) move in opposite directions and periods where one metal outperforms the other.
Gold is currently outperforming silver. Such discrepancies occur and are monitored by the gold/silver ratio. The gold/silver ratio shows how many ounces of silver it takes to buy an ounce of gold. Since 1975, the average is near 60; right now it stands near 80 ($1,187 divided by $14.99).
While gold outperformance, or silver's underperformance relative to gold, was very noticeable in early 2016, this has actually been going on for a long time. The outperformance has become even more pronounced since 2016. To start 2016, gold traded at $1,069 and silver at $13.80 -- the gold/silver ratio of 77.5. As of Oct. 2018, it's at 80. Gold prices have risen relative to silver prices quite steadily for years. This is mainly due to silver price weakness since peaking near $50 in 2011 (when silver outperformed gold).
Trading Medicine Part 21. Long call. In this option trading strategy, the trader buys a call — referred to as “going long” a call — and expects the stock price to exceed the strike price by expiration. The upside on this trade is uncapped and traders can earn many times their initial investment if the stock soars.
Options contracts are considered risky due to their complex nature, but investors who know how options work can reduce their risk. Various risk levels expose investors to loss of premiums, gains, and market value loss.
Trading Medicine Options are a type of contract that gives the buyer the right to buy or sell a security at a specified price at some point in the future. An option holder is essentially paying a premium for the right to buy or sell the security within a certain time frame.
Is option trading profitable? Options trading is a risky endeavor but can be profitable if done correctly. There is no guarantee that any particular trading strategy will be consistently successful, but a few methods have proven to be effective more often than not.
PCR Part - 1What is PCR in share market? A Put-Call Ratio is a technical indicator used in derivative markets. It gauges market sentiment by comparing the open interest or trading volume of put options to call options. A high ratio generally suggests a bearish outlook, while a low ratio indicates a bullish sentiment.
A PCR value below 1 is indicative of the fact that more Call options are being purchased relative to the Put options which signals that investors are anticipating a bullish outlook for the markets ahead.
HDFC BANK next move as per PriceActionOn Monday Earnings & Revenue report came out and it opens gap up above it's strong resistance level which is now good and strong support and now from last 3 sessions its trying to breach its other resistance zone of 1743.10 to 1748.15 in the last session it striked again to this zone but unable to break it and closes at 1736.20 s for the the upcoming sessions we've to watch the behaviour of price at resistance zone if it succesfully breach this zone then we've to go long till next zone of 1780-1788 and should place our SL below the zone of 1748.15-1743.10, wait for the price stablization and look for continuation candlestick pattern or after breaking of zone it's better to enter on pullback.

#banknifty directions and levels for October 22nd.Bank Nifty Current View:
It is similar to the Nifty sentiment. If the market declines initially, we can expect minimum correctional targets of51,447 to51,338. If the decline has a solid structure, then the trend will likely continue. On the other hand, if it reaches this level gradually, a pullback is possible there.
Alternate View:
The alternate view suggests that if the market sustains the gap-up, then we can expect52,423 for the pullback target. However, it should break the38% Fibonacci level solidly; only then can we expect this level.
KOTAKBANK good to buy or wait for further correction? As we can see in the daily chart of KOTAKBANK, wave C of Flat Correction has reached 100% extension (which fulfills the rule of equality). The previous impulse also has a 50% retracement level around the same point, giving us a perfect cluster.
Now, can we directly buy around this level?
The answer is simple.
Suppose the recent low,1735, is broken, and the stock starts to trade below this. In that case, the further level of wave C of Flat Correction will be opened, and the stock may further fall to 127.20% extension, where the 61.8% level of the previous impulse is also present, giving us another cluster. We can initiate buying at this point which is around 1695.
Risky traders may start buying at the CMP with SL of recent low.

Bank Nifty in Ascending Channel Chart Pattern You guys obviously know how to trade parallel lines !?
either side wait and then retracement and BOOM !
a winning trade..
Channel is a powerful yet often overlooked chart pattern and combines several forms of technical analysis to provide traders with potential points for entering and exiting trades
focus on buying near the bottom of the channel and exiting near the top. Be wary of shorting since the trend is up
Keep boosting/liking this post whenever the support or resistance is touched, I challenge you !
#Banknifty directions and levels for October 16th.Current View:
If the gap-up sustains, we can expect the pullback to continue, with some consolidation around the resistance levels. the target range is 52514 to 52642.
Alternate View:
The alternate view indicates that if the market declines initially, or if it rejects around the immediate resistance, we can expect a correction of38% to50%.
> It is important to note that we cannot assume this is a correction even if the market breaks the50% Fibonacci level, as the structure exhibits a bit of a bullish bias. Therefore, we should look for some additional confirmation to predict the correction. If this happens, I will inform you during market hours.

18th Oct 2024 - Sensex will replace BankNifty for Algo strategyBankNifty Stance Neutral ➡️
In last week's report, I did mention that we would be forced to exit the bearish position if we get a close above 51713. The fact is that we went above these levels by 15th October itself i.e. day 2 of this week. On Thursday, we melted and then on Friday, we saw the short covering that propelled us to close at 52138.
The short covering could entirely be because of HDFC and KOTAK bank quarterly results and the short-sellers would have panicked. I would like to inform you that the results are in-line and no major surprises. If the Bears are trying to get back into the game, they may do so in the opening hours of Monday 21st. To change my stance to bearish, we would need to close below 51713 now.
Meanwhile, I was backtesting and analyzing SENSEX in the hope that it could replace BankNifty for my intraday Algos. After 4 days, of analysis I have the following observations.
Margin requirements for Sensex are much better than BankNifty.
Exchange charges are much lower for Sensex. BSE will benefit a lot more as more traders will dump NSE.
The reward to risk ratio is better for Sensex than BankNifty.
The liquidity is lower and Bid/Ask spread is higher for Sensex than BN, I hope this will normalize once BN weeklies come to an end.
I strongly believe my algos could run on Sensex from December month onwards.
BankNifty Intraday Support & Resistance Levels for 21.10.2024On Friday, BankNifty opened with a gap down, hitting a low of 51,000.90, and then staged an impressive comeback, bouncing nearly 1,200 points to a high of 52,199.45. The Weekly Trend (50 SMA) remains positive, and the Daily Trend (50 SMA) is sideways.
