Consolidation
Basing and Breakout formation Basing : Its accumulation phase where smart money comes in, it acts as a base.
Here price may follow the previous trend or shows reversal
Always take partial position, don't get trap by infusing entire position.
Volume activity remains low and you may see some heavy buying at support.
Psychology : participants are not ready to participate actively, it lacks enthusiasm.
Breakout phase :
Here, It may break the support or resistance The bigger the base, the stronger the rally can be.
If it breaks resistance add up your position and if it breaks support cut out your position.
Psychology : Here you will see the moment in price activity with higher spikes in volume.
Here they get the direction.
Studing Consolidation Phase This is hourly timeframe.
This is how I analyze the consolidation only technically.
From fibo. recent top to bottom, Nifty is taking resistance 0.38 fibonacci level.
Let's pointout the short trend and understand each.
1] Nifty started consolidating 6th May 2022.
It started falling, gone sideways for sometime and gave bounce back.
2] And it tested the 16400 zone. As it was a straight one side move, it was obvious it will give a retracement.
3] But it was again a one side move, this time downward, and tested the recent bottom.
Here, we witnessed a sharp upmove from bottom to top and again to bottom.
4] Again from 20th May, a sharp upmove towards resistance.
5] Tested and fallback this week.
6] Bounce backed again and now near resistance zone.
In all of these short term trends, we can see thick bullish and bearish candles in phase 1 and 5.
Though bulls failed in these phase.
Almost each phase has 1) bullish and bearish belt hold
2) bullish and bearish marubozu
Except phase 2,6 no bearish candlestick of this type.
These opposite candlestick patterns occurance multiple times tells us that market is now choppy, highly volatile.
Outcome of analysis:
In current market situation, bulls and bear are almost equally powerful.
Choopy moves indicates the aggression and dominating will.
This how I analyze a consolidation.
Breaks it down in trend zones and study each, and keep in back of the mind each one's outcome,
and try to anticipate, every possibility. And how much is the chance of taking it place by looking at
bull and bears behaviour.
Note : This is my own analysis and is for information purpose only.
Consolidation and BreakoutSimple strategy to determine whether a market is in trend or not.
Breakout implies trending of market.
Consolidation shows market is range bound.
Scaling in 4 times the time frame will show the activity in details and Entry into the market can be done in smaller time frame.
This strategy is suitable for both Range traders as well as trend traders.
Possible entry exit will be shown in next link.
ONMOBILE GLOBAL LONG!- Stock to give a bull run
- Stop loss should be tight around 135 range because once the stocks goes below 135 range it has a high probability to go till the demand zone 110.
- If the stock touches the demand zone at 110 can re-enter there.
- Can anticipate a 12% move till 155 range
SRF- A box Breakout RevisionLast time i posted this stock on 13th of October and since then it kept me waiting for the right time.
I clearly mentioned it needs to halt before breaking out and that is what it did.
Previous Posted Chart for the reference :-
Waited for almost 20 days and then gave returns of 10% in a day.
This is what is important in trading Waiting for the right time.
Waiting for the right time is the most difficult thing to do in trading. Believe yourself and believe your analysis. Some will fail and some will go your way and the charts which will go your way will give you much more than what u lost in others.
Trade with Sl and believe.
Cheers and Happy Trading
Granuels- A Chart with Multiple IndicationsThis chart reflects various aspects of technical analysis. Let's understand them
1. Price action perfectly shaping up for a move (Pink line reflecting behavior of price).
2. Price taking support at previous breakout levels(Resistance acting as support for the stock).
3. Price making a flag pattern too. (Draw a trendline below the already drawn one.) A trend Continuation Pattern which provides a lot of confidence to all the trend traders.
4. Volume picking up the pace as the price is trying to move up (What do u think who is making all these positions?).
5. A hammer with big tail/wyck reflecting strong interest of buyers which pushed it back up.
What else do we need before entering a trade?
Hope it will help you understand.....
Cheers and Happy Trading.

Nifty Breakout expected soon!1. Weekly demand and supply zones are identified with the black horizontal lines
2. only act on the breakout confirmation - till then you can trade intra-day strategies. I suggest you to use 60 min or a 30 min timeline!
3. Weekly gap at a previous support now acting as a resistance shown by the yellow zone and black dotted line respectively
Trade with caution as it is sqeezing!
TAMO consolidation rangeSecurity is trading between 116 and 120. Upper limit is 122. Bulls will be active above 122 if sustained for 15 mins.
Bias - Bullish ⏫
Note - Please wait till the levels are active. View negated if stock is below 116 on closing basis. This is an educational idea which would be updated on further price action observations. In no ways it is a buy/sell recommendation.
Real-World example of Price ROTATION trade and accurencyKeep your stop loss Outside of a penetration area.
The trade will execute after breaking up/down will give you the direction of trade.
Following points should be observed before entering to trade.
1) Volume should increase from the normal range of it.
2) The volume with the price. For insta nce , if down-breakout, price fall with raising volume will favor of your trade direction.
3) Take price when price heavy surge in volume, because of most of the trader book the profit at that time.
4) Read price but not news or other talks.
5) etc.
