The Ultimate Beginners Guide to Day TradingHello everyone My name is d3ffyduck
I am today gonna post some cool and new tips For the beginners in Daytrading.
I am gonna divide things in Chapters so you'll learn it with ease
Read it till the end Hope You learn something
Chapter-1 Timeframe selection
The choice of the best timeframe for chart analysis in day trading can vary depending on a trader's strategy, preferences, and the market being traded. Different timeframes offer varying levels of detail and may suit different trading styles. For Example
1-Minute Chart: This timeframe provides very detailed information, showing price movements within one-minute intervals. I prefer Using it for precise entry and exit points In day trading
5-Minute Chart: Slightly less detailed than the 1-minute chart, the 5-minute chart still offers relatively short-term insights into price movements. I use to determine my momentum for the trade i want to hold for like 1-2hrs only
15-Minute Chart: This timeframe offers a broader view of the market compared to shorter intervals. I prefer it to determine my next day momentum of the market
Chapter-2 Support and resistance Using RSI
I know you all knows the basics for support and resistance but today i will show you the best way. Just open your chart and use RSI Indicator and we are going to mark the overbought areas high candle and oversold area lowest candle using it for different time frames.
Just a note from my side do not mark those areas again if there have already a support or resistance line in different time frame and also you can remove those level of S&R which did not hold well in different time frames
1-day time frame=I have marked the regions where the RSI turned in the overbought or oversold areas. As you can see, I have not marked the support and resistance levels since they were already established from previous market overbought and oversold.
4-hour Time frame=In this timeframe, we will only identify the levels that are above 70 and below 30 in the RSI. We'll skip the R&S that are already marked on the daily timeframe. To reiterate, please refrain from marking those levels again if we can observe that our resistance and support levels have already been established on the daily chart.
1-Hour Time Frame = I've set my preferred timeframe to a maximum of 4 to 5 months. I don't want to go below this timeframe as it will create more noise. Additionally, I'll remove the support and resistance levels that didn't react well for buyers and sellers at this point to make the chart look cleaner
Chapter-3 Determining the Trend
Here in this chapter we are going to use only 2 Things to keep everything simple:-
SMA+EMA 200= We are going to use simple indicator or just create yourself one indicator which plots both sma and ema with same 200 timeperiod.
Rules are simple
if below both ma look for short
if above both ma look for long
You can use it for 1hr and 15 min for day trading purpose
Trendlines- Trendlines are your best friend. They are the building block for your Chart pattern look for trendlines in 15 min tf for day trading purpose
Chapter-4 Significance of market opening closing, high, low
This is one of the important chapter for day traders and i am going to tell you how an opening closing high and low effect the whole day trade.
For Example
1-Open your Chart
2-Mark the opening ,closing highs and lows for previous 3-4 days
3-Those area are going to be area of interest
Tip for the beginners. Do not take any trades for the first hour From the opening of the day For example if your market opens in 9:15 am dont take trades until 10:00-10:15 cause of high volatilty
Another Tip for the beginners. If you prefer to take 2 trades a day close your previous 10:00 am trade At around 11:45am -12:15 pm and start looking for another one after that. the reason because i have seen this is the time for the most probable reversal or continuation of trend for the next leg of the day
Chapter-5 Significance of Gaps in the market
Gaps are one of the best way to decide what will be the market trend for the rest of the day
There are two type of gaps in the market 1-Gap up 2- Gap down
Tip for the beginners Only trade in the strong gap up or down and as i said before do not trade in the first hour of the opening
Ill show you some scenarios of gap Trading with respect to opening of the day
Scenario 1st strong gap up+ Stayed above above the gap and opening for the 1 hour(9 am-10am)
We can see we had a strong opening stayed above the gap up and open for atleast 1 hour so after this the trend is decided
Tip for the beginners Always follow strict Risk and Reward ratio like i use 1:1.5
Scenario 2nd strong gap up+ stayed below the gap and opening for the 1 hour(9 am-10am)
We can see we had a strong gap up and opening but price stayed below the opening for 1 hour so we took the short as dropped below previous closing/high
Similarly we can use this for gap down scenarios
Final tip from my side are:-
Do meditation for 15 min before trading hours
Always use stoploss
Use your preferred Risk Reward ratio like 1:1.5
Do not trade in opening Hour
Gaps are like your friend
Trends are like a path to success
Do not overtrade
Dont only rely on indicators there isnt any indicator which can make you rich
Use only basic indicators such as Ema,Macd,Rsi and ATR
PLEASE UPVOTE AND FOLLOW FOR MORE EDUCATIONAL CHARTS AND STRATEGIES
#NIFTY50 - Analysis for 16th August, 2023 ©Hello Pivster's ★
•As we saw Nifty50's initiative sellers applying an emergency brakes as soon as the Adani-SEBI verdict got postpone.
•But, do you see a beautiful ' double bottom ' (M-pattern) been formed and completed it's target in confluence to a major support 19300.
⇲ My Pivot Auction Chart is posted below for reference:
Now that we have a general overview in place let's see what is the anticipation for tomorrow's market movement ↓
⌖ In case of a GAP-UP:
␥ CASE -1:
IF we see a gap-up opening above or near PDH then a reversal for the Bullish GPZ magnet can come and then-on the situation is to be monitor'ed.
␥ CASE -2:
IF we see a gap-up opening in between PDH and PDC then the movement can be slow towards the DH3 cam level which also has WH3 responsive sellers waiting there for a quick down push towards PDC and if it is protected then it can shoot-up to trap the weekly sellers.
⌖ In case of a GAP-DOWN:
␥ CASE -1:
IF we open gap-down near to the bottom of the GPZ or below the GPZ then the broader sellers in the ongoing trend might trap the buyers near a bounce to Daily Pivot and aggressive selling can be seen once the previous session buyers are trapped and a cartel of different TF sellers would be active and bash the index like Newton's Apple towards the major support level 19300.
␥ CASE -2:
IF we see a gap-down opening near or below the Daily Pivot or L3 cam level then we can see a bounce from yesterday's weekly responsive buyers protecting the GPZ and once the GPZ is taken out we would see further momentum by these participants getting joined in by daily responsive buyers too
So, I wish you are equipped with all the needed information for the coming trading session and i wish a bucket full of profits for everyone 🥂
Lastly, if you liked it and found useful share it everywhere with your fellow-traders/friends/family etc... 🫶

Mukkull
NIFTY50 : WEEKLY EXPIRY SPECIAL 🔍So, got a lot of enquiries for explanation of today's movement by Indices and here I will try to summarise the entire context for ongoing price movement with the help of my very own "Pivot Auction Chart" 📶
➖ To start with the general context of this week's price movement -
👉🏻 Currently both the indices are in grip of weekly participants (responsive).
👉🏻 So, either they show strength at the pullback to push the price in the ongoing direction or else the Monthly Responsive players will trap them in coming sessions which will lead to a situation of pullback getting turned into reversal.
This context was discussed on 8th August, 2023
What happens today??
📍 We saw a O=H opening today depicting strong selling pressure as we break the previous 2D low which happens to be at the Monthly Cam Level L3 (ML3) and Weekly Pivot (Pivot(W)) .
📍 Now with first hour being a seller's candle alongside daily narrow CPR setup which was an indicative of a possible trending day which turned the tables after the flush of weak daily sellers who enter in the market after a consolidation in the first half.
📍 With the market narrative being seen as a pause for further selling in the second half, we see a price breakout from the hourly price range and as the general context was given we see as soon as the price cam to previous 2D low in confluence to the price level of Monthly Responsive Buyers they trapped all the shorters for the day with the of help of Metals, OIl & Gas and Auto Sector in their bucket to push the price higher to the 2D high.
◇Attaching a snapshot of NSE:NIFTY in accordance to Auction Market Theory (AMT) which shows this phenomenon in more depth and will help you tomorrow too ▿
↘︎ A brief for tomorrow's expiry movement:
• We see a Bullish GPZ setup for tomorrow alongside an event day too that is "RBI MONETARY POLICY" meet which starts at 10am IST.
• So, here one thing is which is very straight and simple is that NSE:NIFTY will be in control of today's buyers until the GPZ is taken down.
• In case of GAP-UP opening we have a broader responsive range of "Weekly Responsive Sellers (WH3) - Quarterly Responsive Sellers (QH3) & also Daily Responsive Sellers (DH3) so, a dip can come towards the GPZ and if the GPZ is intact a good short covering can be seen tomorrow towards 19800.
• In case of GAP-DOWN opening we can price taking an initial bounce from the Daily Pivot and if the price unable to cross PDH then first we will break the GPZ and then if the news momentum joins in then we can go as deep as towards 19380-19410 levels.
So, here is a summarised brief of today's movement in the simplest yet as descriptive as possible and tomorrow's possible move in NSE:NIFTY and similar follow up in NSE:BANKNIFTY ✓

Turbo Breakout Setup: High-Probability Trades with Precision.NSE:CNXFINANCE
Hello Traders,
In this video, I have explained a Breakout trading setup that will generate only high-probability breakout trades, that have high success rate than another breakout.
The setup is based on a pure price action structure and does not require any indicators just we are using volume as a confirmation tool.
Why does this setup work?
The logic is very simple
let's talk about the 1st variation of this setup:- Fake Breakout
as you can see in this setup most of the time the structure completes after a fake breakout.
So that fake breakout means the short sellers in the correction phase trying to defend there stop loss and make prices go down but what do you think for how long they will be able to defend that zone when buyers' strength is increasing? so after that when buyers push the price a little above-failed breakout zone the price hits short sellers stop losses and include new buying at that level to push prices toward the sky.
What about scenario 2nd:- NO failed breakout but horizontal range inside trend resistance line.
When the trend Resistance line and horizontal line break at the same price point it invites many traders to put a limit order above that horizontal line and most of the short sellers also have put their stop loss when that zone hit the price again and start moving towards the sky.
Other factors and detailed setup have been explained in the video.
Any setup is useless without a pre-defined stop loss cause you need to focus on capital protection first then you can aim for profits.
Always take calculated risks and use proper position sizing.
This is only for educational purposes only.
Always trade with stop-loss.
I hope you found this idea helpful.

Investors' Holy Grail - The Business/Economic CycleThe business cycle describes how the economy expands and contracts over time. It is an upward and downward movement of the gross domestic product along with its long-term growth rate.
The business cycle consists of 6 phases/stages :
1. Expansion
2. Peak
3. Recession
4. Depression
5. Trough
6. Recovery
1) Expansion :
Sectors Affected: Technology, Consumer discretion
Expansion is the first stage of the business cycle. The economy moves slowly upward, and the cycle begins.
The government strengthens the economy:
Lowering taxes
Boost in spending.
- When the growth slows, the central bank reduces rates to encourage businesses to borrow.
- As the economy expands, economic indicators are likely to show positive signals, such as employment, income, wages, profits, demand, and supply.
- A rise in employment increases consumer confidence increasing activity in the housing markets, and growth turns positive. A high level of demand and insufficient supply lead to an increase in the price of production. Investors take a loan with high rates to fill the demand pressure. This process continues until the economy becomes favorable for expansion.
2) Peak :
Sector Affected : Financial, energy, materials
- The second stage of the business cycle is the peak which shows the maximum growth of the economy. Identifying the end point of an expansion is the most complex task because it can last for serval years.
- This phase shows a reduction in unemployment rates. The market continues its positive outlook. During expansion, the central bank looks for signs of building price pressures, and increased rates can contribute to this peak. The central bank also tries to protect the economy against inflation in this stage.
- Since employment rates, income, wages, profits, demand & supply are already high, there is no further increase.
- The investor will produce more and more to fill the demand pressure. Thus, the investment and product will become expensive. At this time point, the investor will not get a return due to inflation. Prices are way higher for buyers to buy. From this situation, a recession takes place. The economy reverses from this stage.
3) Recession :
Sector Affected : Utilities, healthcare, consumer staples
- Two consecutive quarters of back-to-back declines in gross domestic product constitute a recession.
- The recession is followed by a peak phase. In this phase economic indicators start melting down. The demand for the goods decreased due to expensive prices. Supply will keep increasing, and on the other hand, demand will begin to decline. That causes an "excess of supply" and will lead to falling in prices.
4) Depression :
- In more prolonged downturns, the economy enters into a depression phase. The period of malaise is called depression. Depression doesn't happen often, but when they do, there seems to be no amount of policy stimulus that can lift consumers and businesses out of their slumps. When The economy is declining and falling below steady growth, this stage is called depression.
- Consumers don't borrow or spend because they are pessimistic about the economic outlook. As the central bank cuts interest rates, loans become cheap, but businesses fail to take advantage of loans because they can't see a clear picture of when demand will start picking up. There will be less demand for loans. The business ends up sitting on inventories & pare back production, which they already produced.
- Companies lay off more and more employees, and the unemployment rate soars and confidence flatters.
5) Trough :
- When economic growth becomes negative, the outlook looks hopeless. Further decline in demand and supply of goods and services will lead to more fall in prices.
- It shows the maximum negative situation as the economy reached its lowest point. All economic indicators will be worse. Ex. The highest rate of unemployment, and No demand for goods and services(lowest), etc. After the completion, good time starts with the recovery phase.
6) Recovery :
Affected sectors: Industrials, materials, real estate
- As a result of low prices, the economy begins to rebound from a negative growth rate, and demand and production are both starting to increase.
- Companies stop shedding employees and start finding to meet the current level of demand. As a result, they are compelled to hire. As the months pass, the economy is once in expansion.
- The business cycle is important because investors attempt to concentrate their investments on those that are expected to do well at a certain time of the cycle.
- Government and the central bank also take action to establish a healthy economy. The government will increase expenditure and also take steps to increase production.
After the recovery phases, the economy again enters the expansion phase.
Safe heaven/Defensive Stocks - It maintains or anticipates its values over the crisis, then does well. We can even expect good returns in these asset classes. Ex. utilities, health care, consumer staples, etc. ("WE WILL DISCUSS MORE IN OUR UPCOMING ARTICLE DUE TO ARTICLE LENGTH.")
It's a depression condition for me that I couldn't complete my discussion after spending many days in writing this article. However, I will upload the second part of this article that will help investors and traders in real life. This article took me a long time to write. I'm not expecting likes or followers, but I hope you will read it.
Have a great day :)
