Siemens done with selling external businesses, CFO says

Siemens SIE is done with selling off its peripheral businesses, the technology giant's finance chief said in an interview with Reuters, but gave no guarantees on the company's future structure as it continually reviews its portfolio.

"We have decided together on the board that there will be no more new 'portfolio companies'," CFO Ralf Thomas said in comments published on Friday.

"But it would be naive to believe that the portfolio does not have to be reviewed again and again," he said, adding that this would be up to the individual divisions to decide.
