The SENSEX Index went up by 0.67%

In Mumbai the SENSEX Index gained 408 points or 0.67 percent on Wednesday.

Gains were led by Tata Steel (2.43%), Larsen & Toubro (2.39%) and HDFC Bank (1.90%).

Biggest losers were Tata Motors (-1.49%), Ultra Tech Cement (-1.38%) and Nestle India Ltd (-0.73%).
