Lithuania Retail Sales Growth Slows in March

Retail sales in Lithuania slowed to 3.8% year-on-year in March 2024 from a downwardly revised 4.6% rise in the previous month, as sales moderated for non-food products (1.1% vs 5.5% in February).

Meanwhile, sales accelerated for automotive fuel in specialized stores (2.5% vs 0%) and food, alcoholic beverages & tobacco (8% vs 6.5%).

On a monthly basis, retail sales grew 1.2% in March, following a 0.8% rise in the prior month.
