Ichimokukinkohyo
Ichimoku Kinkō HyōThe Ichimoku Kinko Hyo is an trading system developed by the late Goichi Hosoda (pen name "Ichimokusanjin") when he was the general manager of the business conditions department of Miyako Shinbun, the predecessor of the Tokyo Shimbun. Currently, it is a registered trademark of Economic Fluctuation Research Institute Co., Ltd., which is run by the bereaved family of Hosoda as a private research institute.
The Ichimoku Kinko Hyo is composed of time theory, price range theory (target price theory) and wave movement theory. Ichimoku means "At One Glace". The equilibrium table is famous for its span, but the first in the equilibrium table is the time relationship.
In the theory of time, the change date is the day after the number of periods classified into the basic numerical value such as 9, 17, 26, etc., the equal numerical value that takes the number of periods of the past wave motion, and the habit numerical value that appears for each issue is there. The market is based on the idea that the buying and selling equilibrium will move in the wrong direction. Another feature is that time is emphasized in order to estimate when changes will occur.
In the price range theory, there are E・V・N・NT calculated values and multiple values of 4 to 8E as target values. In addition, in order to determine the momentum and direction of the market, we will consider other price ranges and ying and yang numbers.
If the calculated value is realized on the change date calculated by each numerical value, the market price is likely to reverse.
転換線 (Tenkansen) (Conversion Line) = (highest price in the past 9 periods + lowest price) ÷ 2
基準線 (Kijunsen) (Base Line) = (highest price in the past 26 periods + lowest price) ÷ 2
It represents Support/Resistance for 16 bars. It is a 50% Fibonacci Retracement. The Kijun sen is knows as the "container" of the trend. It is prefect to use as an initial stop and/or trailing stop.
先行スパン1 (Senkou span 1) (Lagging Span 1) = {(conversion value + reference value) ÷ 2} 25 periods ahead (26 periods ahead including the current day, that is)
先行スパン2 (Senkou span 2) (Lagging Span 2) = {(highest price in the past 52 periods + lowest price) ÷ 2} 25 periods ahead (26 periods ahead including the current day, that is)
遅行スパン (Chikou span) (Lagging Span) = (current candle closing price) plotted 26 periods before (that is, including the current day) 25 periods ago
It is the only Ichimoku indicator that uses the closing price. It is used for momentum of the trend.
The area surrounded by the two lagging span lines is called a cloud. This is the foundation of the system. It determines the sentiment (Bull/Bear) for the insrument. If price is above the cloud, the instrument is bullish. If price is below the cloud, the instrument is bearish.

The wave theory of the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo has the following waves.
All about the rising market. If it is the falling market, the opposite is true.
I wave rise one market price.
V wave the market price that raises and lowers.
N wave the market price for raising, lowering, and raising.
P wave the high price depreciates and the low price rises with the passage of time. Leave either.
Y wave the high price rises and the low price falls with the passage of time. Leave either.
S wave A market in which the lowered market rebounds and rises at the previous high level.
There are the above 6 types but the basis of the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo is the N wave of 3 waves.
In Elliott wave theory and similar theories, basically there are 5 waves but 5 waves are a series of 2 and 3 waves N, 3 for 7 waves, 4 for 9 waves and so on.
Even if it keep continuing, it will be based on N wave. In addition, since the P wave and the Y wave are separated from each other, they can be seen as N waves from a large perspective.

There are basic E・V・N・NT calculated values and several other calculation methods for the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo. It is the only calculated value that gives a concrete value in the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo, which is difficult to understand, but since we focus only on the price difference and do not consider the supply and demand, it is forbidden to stick to the calculated value alone.
(The calculation method of the following five calculated values is based on the rising market price, which is raised from the low price A to the high price B and lowered from the high price B to the low price C. Therefore, the low price C is higher than the low price A)
E calculated value The amount of increase from the low price A to the high price B is added to the high price B. = B + (BA)
V calculated value Adds the amount of decline from the high price B to the low price C to the high price B. = B + (BC)
N calculated value The amount of increase from the low price A to the high price B is added to the low price C. = C + (BA)
NT calculated value Adds the amount of increase from the low price A to the low price C to the low price C. = C + (CA)
4E calculated value (four-layer double / quadruple value) Adds three times the amount of increase from the low price A to the high price B to the high price B. = B + 3 × (BA)
Calculated value of P wave The upper price is devalued and the lower price is rounded up, and the price range of both is the same.
Calculated value of Y wave The upper price is rounded up and the lower price is rounded down, and the price range of both is the same.

PpSignal Ichimoku Kinko HyoWhat is the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo?
The Ichimoku Kinko Hyo, or Ichimoku for short, is a technical indicator that is used to gauge momentum along with future areas of support and resistance. The all-in-one technical indicator is comprised of five lines called the tenkan-sen, kijun-sen, senkou span A, senkou span B and chikou span.
Understanding Ichimoku Kinko Hyo
The Ichimoku Kinko Hyo indicator was originally developed by a Japanese newspaper writer to combine various technical strategies into a single indicator that could be easily implemented and interpreted. In Japanese, "ichimoku" translates to "one look," meaning traders only have to take one look at the chart to determine momentum, support, and resistance.
Ichimoku may look very complicated to novice traders that haven't seen it before, but the complexity quickly disappears with an understanding of what the various lines mean and why they are used.
The Ichimoku indicator is best used in conjunction with other forms of technical analysis despite its goal of being an all-in-one indicator.
Ichimoku Kinko Hyo Interpretation
There are five key components to the Ichimoku indicator:
Tenkan-sen: The tenkan-sen, or conversion line, is calculated by adding the highest high and the highest low over the past nine periods and then dividing the result by two. The resulting line represents a key support and resistance level, as well as a signal line for reversals.
Kijun-sen: The kijun-sen, or base line, is calculated by adding the highest high and the lowest low over the past 26 periods and dividing the result by two. The resulting line represents a key support and resistance level, a confirmation of a trend change, and can be used as a trailing stop-loss point.
Senkou Span A: The senkou span A, or leading span A, is calculated by adding the tenkan-sen and the kijun-sen, dividing the result by two, and then plotting the result 26 periods ahead. The resulting line forms one edge of the kumo - or cloud - that's used to identify future areas of support and resistance.
Senkou Span B: The senkou span B, or leading span B, is calculated by adding the highest high and the lowest low over the past 52 periods, dividing it by two, and then plotting the result 26 periods ahead. The resulting line forms the other edge of the kumo that's used to identify future areas of support and resistance.
Chikou Span: The chikou span, or lagging span, is the current period's closing price plotted 26 days back on the chart. This line is used to show possible areas of support and resistance.

【Super Bollinger】The market consists of three phases: an uptrend phase, a downtrend phase, and a range-bound phase.Furthermore, if we include a trend phase and a correction phase, the market has five phases. In other words, the market is classified into the “five phases” as below:
1) Uptrend market (trend phase, upward bias)
2) Downtrend market (trend phase, downward bias)
3) Upward correction phase (correction phase, upward bias)
4) Downward correction phase (correction phase, downward bias)
5) Range-bound phase, sideways (correction phase, basically not biased)
For your judgment of the above market trends, Super Bollinger is extremely useful and effective. And Super Bollinger has advantage in judging market price level.

Cloud Settings form the fundamental factor for this indicator to detect the breakouts. The settings for the Ichimoku Cloud is Automatic by default, but this can be changed based on the user preference from the settings under 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞, which also includes a manual input option. Ichimoku traders can experiment different settings combinations under manual settings to suit their trading frequency and timeframe traded.
Ichimoku Cloud with its components can be displayed or hidden by enabling/disabling 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐮 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝. Also, Sʜᴏᴡ Iᴄʜɪᴍᴏᴋᴜ Cʀᴏssᴇs from the Cloud Settings plots tiny crosses on chart.

Even though the Ichimoku Trade Bands are derived from the Cloud Parameters, the Bᴀɴᴅ Wɪᴅᴛʜ (0.236 - 1) and Lᴏᴏᴋʙᴀᴄᴋ (5 - 200) influences the sensitivity and the width of the bands, which has an effect on the risk and reward expected from Ichimoku Trade Bands Breakout trade.
Trade Bands can be displayed or hidden by enabling/disabling 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐈𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐮 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬. Also, the Bands mean line can be enabled or disabled using 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞 check box and its line width can be changed using Tʀᴀᴅᴇ Bᴀɴᴅs Mᴇᴀɴ Lɪɴᴇ Wɪᴅᴛʜ dropdown.

MA Visualizer is a powerful and very useful original ™TradeChartist visual method to plot Moving Averages of the close price of the security for user specified look back period in a visually appealing style in the form of colour coded bands. MA Visualizer not only helps the trader spot the price action of the security relative to the moving average, but also paints a visual picture of the trend strength, which must be seen and used on chart to appreciate its elegance. One of 15 different types of Moving Averages can be used to visualize the price action.
Activate 𝗠𝗔 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿 and choose the MA type from MA Vɪsᴜᴀʟɪᴢᴇʀ Tʏᴘᴇ dropdown and entering the lookback period in MA Vɪsᴜᴀʟɪᴢᴇʀ ᴘᴇʀɪᴏᴅ input box. MA Visualizer colour theme can be be changed from MA Vɪsᴜᴀʟɪᴢᴇʀ Cᴏʟᴏʀ Sᴄʜᴇᴍᴇ dropdown.
The faster of the two set of bands that form the MA Visualizer reacts to price action faster and can be clearly seen from its change of colour from Bull Colour to Bear Colour or viceversa earlier than the slower set of bands. The fill colour between the bands also helps the user stay in a trade or exit a trade based on other confirmators.

Signal Type
True Ichimoku Kumo Breakout
Ichimoku traders mostly use the Kumo breakouts for trading based on several Bullish and Bearish conditions. For the sake of effective trade entries, trade entry plots for specific cloud events like Kumo twists, Tenkan Sen crossing Kijun Sen, price crossing cloud components etc have been intentionally ignored as Ichimoku traders often tend to visually trade them effectively.
Ichimoku Trade Bands Breakout
In addition to the True Kumo Breakouts, users of this script will be able to trade Ichimoku Trade Bands Breakouts. Ichimoku Trade Bands is an original ™TradeChartist model designed to detect early trend changes based on the Ichimoku settings. These bands are comprised of three plots - an upper band, a lower band and a mean line, namely and all are derived from the Ichimoku settings. The bands act as a filter and a breakout from bands' extreme boundaries signals a change in trend. The settings of the bands can be derived automatically or using manual input based on Ichimoku Cloud parameters, accessed from the indicator settings.
The Breakout Trade Entries can be further filtered by use of MA Visualizer or by using an external filter connected to the script.
===================================================================================================================
╔═════════ 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 ═════════╗
Filters are normally used to reduce noise in the Trade Entry Signals and they can be quite effective in helping the trader stay in trade and to minimize unproductive trade entries. Ichimoku Trader enables the user to use upto two trade filters - MA Visualizer and /or External Filter respectively.
Moving Averages are very effective trade filters and if the right Moving Average is used with right lookback period based on trade type and timeframe traded, they can be very effective in filtering trades.
Enabling 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐀 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 filters breakouts only when MA Visualizer agrees with the trend (which can be visualized using the fill colour between the MA Visualizer plots.
Enabling Fɪʟᴛᴇʀ Eᴀʀʟʏ Vɪsᴜᴀʟɪᴢᴇʀ Bʀᴇᴀᴋᴏᴜᴛs in addition filters breakouts even if price closed above the upper MA Visualizer plot without having to agree with fill colour.
In addition to MA Visualizer Filter, and external filter like RSI, MACD etc. can also be used by connecting to Ichimoku Trader under ╔═══ 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 ═══ 🔌 dropdown by enabling 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫. The external filter can be used as the only filter or in addition to MA Visualizer filter.
To get the external filter to work, Sɪɢɴᴀʟ Tʏᴘᴇ must be set right. For plots that are not oscillatory like Moving Averages, Super Trend etc., choose type as Non Oscillatory and for Oscillators like RSI, CCI, MACD etc., choose type as Oscillatory .
For Oscillators, levels must be specified for Fɪʟᴛᴇʀ Lᴇᴠᴇʟ ғᴏʀ ʟᴏɴɢs and Fɪʟᴛᴇʀ Lᴇᴠᴇʟ ғᴏʀ sʜᴏʀᴛs , especially if the Oscillator doesnt have 0 as mid line, like RSI. Even for 0 mid oscillators like CCI, filter levels like 100/-100 work effectively to filter noise.
Use 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐥 under 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀 to paint the trade zones background. It helps visually see the effect of filters on the breakout entries and also the trade performance.
===================================================================================================================
╔═════════ 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀 ═════════╗
Ichimoku Trader also includes the following useful extras
𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐥 paints the trade zones in green and red as mentioned above.
Sʜᴏᴡ Hɪɢʜs ᴀɴᴅ Lᴏᴡs plots the highest highs of the Bull Zone and the lowest lows of the Bear Zone to help spot the wicks, support and resistance.
Tᴀᴋᴇ Pʀᴏғɪᴛ Bᴀʀs helps detect the volatility exhaustion prices and plots $ signs to help the trader take profits or move stop loss levels to secure gains or to reduce losses.
Vɪsᴜᴀʟɪᴢᴇʀ Cᴏʟᴏʀ Bᴀʀs paints the price bars with trend intensity and the user can opt from one of two themes under Bᴀʀ Cᴏʟᴏʀ Sᴄʜᴇᴍᴇ (Chilli and Flame).
The bar colors can be inverted by enabling Iɴᴠᴇʀᴛ Bᴀʀ Cᴏʟᴏʀs to see reverse bias with respect to the current trade direction.
===================================================================================================================
╔═════════ 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 ═════════╗
Alerts can be created for Long and Short entries by using Once Per Bar Close as Alert Frequency. Entries are generated on Real time bars based on Breakout and filter conditions. It is recommended to wait for bar close before taking a position based on Ichimoku Trader Trade Entries.
The indicator does not repaint and can be confidently used for alerts and trade entries without worrying about signals disappearing.
™TradeChartist Ichimoku Trader 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿 can also be connected to ™TradeChartist Plug and Trade to generate entries along with Targets, Stop Loss plots etc. Target and Stop Loss alerts can be created using Plug and Trade's Alerts system.
===================================================================================================================
There are several combinations of settings that can be tested on the security traded based on timeframe and risk/reward expectations. The indicator can be used for trade entries with filter combinations or can be used as standalone Visualizer for trend confirmations, levels etc. Following are a few examples using the Visualizer.

Ichimoku Kinko Hyo Strategy+ EMA + 3ATRThis trading strategy uses combination of the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo system with Fibonacci numbers based 13/21/55 exponential moving average ( EMA ) crossover, giving good results in various trending assets !
Also has the Trend-following indicator combining SuperTrend with Chiku breakout from Ichimoku is added in order to confirm trend pattern.
The Ichimoku Kinko Hyo system includes five kinds of signal, of which this strategy uses the most recent of ones i.e. Tenkan Sen / Kijun Sen Cross and price crosses the Kijun Sen. As the Chikou Span, Senkou Span A and Senkou Span B are shifted into the past/future.
The Tenkan Sen, also known as the Turning or Conversion line, is a moving average of the highest high and lowest low over the last 9 periods in this strategy.
The Kijun Sen, also known as the Standard or Base line, is a moving average of the highest high and lowest low over the last 26 periods in this strategy.
The Chikou Span, also known as the Lagging line, is the closing price plotted 26 periods behind in this strategy.
The Senkou Span A, also known as the 1st leading line, is a moving average of the Tenkan Sen and Kijun Sen and is plotted 26 periods ahead in this strategy.
The Senkou Span B, also known as the 2nd leading line, is a moving average of the highest high and lowest low over the last 52 trading days is plotted 26 periods ahead in this strategy.
EMA is quicker to react to the current market price is because EMA gives more importance to the most recent data points. This helps the trader to take quicker trading decisions. Just used the laws of nature for EMA numbers: taken from Fibonacci sequence numbers 13/21/55
A SuperTrend employs ATR values to calculate the indicator values. The SuperTrend indicator combined with Chiku breakout from Ichimoku and plotted. The indicator line changes its color between green and red based on the price momentum in the underlying.

Predictimoku (Cloud 9) - Modified Ichimoku by Cryptorhythms [CR] Predictimoku (Cloud 9) - Modified Ichimoku by Cryptorhythms
📜Intro
New spin on the old standby ichimoku!
Predictimoku (Cloud 9): This indicator uses a proprietary algo to forecast the kijun tenkan & senkou spans accurately out into the future.
📋Background
Unfortunately you may have seen it around twitter as part of a paid for course with indicator set. These influencers claim its "their proprietary indicator". Well the truth is that the source code was stolen from me without payment by some folks who will remain nameless... Then they published the indicator as a private script to avoid moderation/ban (cowards!)
Lesson learned... this is why you never trust anyone until the money is in your hand. And if you see the indicator in the wild as part of some "guru's" overpriced course you will know who the thieves are!
But I wouldnt let that injustice or their shady behavior stand. So that now means you all will get access to it because I am providing it free for the public! :)
📋Features and How to Use
You use this indicator in all the same ways as you would use traditional ichimoku, the underlying structure is the same. Though the default settings are using doubled lookback lengths as per "crypto standard."
The extra functionality comes in the form of accurate and non repainting forecast of up to 17 bars for the kijun, tenkan and senkou spans! This can be useful in many ways for instance it can show you ahead of time when a kumo twist will happen, or a tenkan/kijun cross, etc!
💠Here is an example of the 17 bar forecast:
💠Here is an example of the Trading Range option to show you where price would need to go to force a recalculation of the forecasts. It also provides areas of interest for PA reactions.
💠Last an example of the fibonacci spread. By default the Auto Fib's lookback length is set to 60 to match the kijun lookback. This generally produces a nice framework for near future price action.
💠Look for some more new and unique ichimoku based indicators coming soon from us! :)

Ichimoku Signal GeneratorThis indicator uses the standard concepts of the Ichimoku Cloud. The indicator features a fully customisable set of Ichimoku lines: Tenkan Sen, Kijun Sen, Senkou Span A & B, Kumo, Chikou Span. Besides this the Indicator also features the ability to show and hide entry signals for various entry criteria for the Ichimoku indicator:
Signal 1 - Chikou crossing Kijun - The indicator will place an arrow in the direction of the trade that is suggested by this signal.
Signal 2 - Heikin Ashi Candle closing above the Kumo - This seems to filter out a lot of bad signal versus basing the signal on price closing above the Kumo alone.
Signal 3 - Price crossing the Kijun Sen in relation to the Kumo - This signal has received the most work - It generates a signal in the suggested direction of the particular condition being met i.e. price crosses below the Kijun indicates a sell and vice versa, but it also factors in where the cross happens in relation to the Kumo cloud. These signals can be switched on or off based on weak(longs below the cloud or shorts above the cloud), neutral (long or short when inside the cloud) or strong (long above the cloud or short below the cloud).
Examples of each of the different Signal 3 indicators can be seen in the screenshot. Pale/white signals are weak, yellow are neutral & green/red are strong.
Further features (only available on Signal 3 at present: entry, stop loss and take profit levels. These are determined based on the ATR periods setting and ATR Multiplier for Stop Loss - specifying an ATR period of 10 and multiplier of 2 will result in stop loss signal being shown as 2xATR(10) above or below the entry based on whether you are shown a long or short signal. For Take Profits you can specify a Risk:Reward multiplier. By default this is set to 2:1 (or 2). This takes the distance from the stop market to the entry and multiplies it by the multiplier and then indicates a signal where you "could" exit. For the risk averse trader that want some instant gratification when they hit 1:1, the indicator will show you exactly where 1:1 is. You can then follow whatever risk management strategy you wish to - personally I find this a point at which I breakeven my stop and take half the profits (now I can't lose!) :)
The indicator follows some basic Ichimoku trading rules - not all signals will result in a winning trade (this is NOT the holy grail and doesn't claim to be) - you should always follow you own risk management strategy. You should also couple this with additional analysis to try to qualify the entry signal i.e. "does this signal and direction correlate with what the higher timeframes are telling me?".
One last feature I added - mores for psychological reasons was to only show signals for the time window I would actually be trading. I hate seeing that I missed a signal when I wasn't online - and this doesn't set me up mentally for trading well. So if there was an opportunity when I would not be trading - it is matter under the bridge! It is gone and I don't want to see it as I would not have been there to take it. This trading window can be specified using the start and end times - the setting mentions EST - however you should relate them to the exchange time for the provider of the price feed - some providers may use a different timezone to others i.e. UTC vs EST.
Wish you the best of luck!
Please provide any constructive feedback as I would love to feature further enhancements to this indicator if it helps users.
Ichimoku Kinko Hyo StrategyStrategy based on the Ishimoku Kinko Hyo system, using the different indicators it provides to build signals.
This strategy could be better as it should ideally use the position of the price line compared to Chikou to determine if signals should be looked for, but I've been unable to fully implement this so far (an imperfect implementation is provided, but disable by default). I'll update the script once I figure it out, but it still gives good results without this.
Dual SuperTrend, Ichimoku and DMI Color Weighted by DGTThis study interprets SuperTrend with Ichimoku Cloud, one of the popular technical analysis indicator, and interprets Directional Movement (DMI), which is another quite valuable technical analysis indicator.
Then combines the interpreted SuperTrend with interpreted Directional Movement (DMI) and Volume Based Colored Bars indicator created by Kıvaç ÖZBİLGİÇ (permission has been granted from the author)
Here are details of the concept applied
1- SuperTrend Line colored based on Ichimoku Cloud
Definition
The Ichimoku Cloud, developed by Goichi Hosoda and published in the late 1960s, is a collection of technical indicators that give it a unique capacity to show support and resistance levels, momentum and trend direction
What Does the Ichimoku Cloud Tells?
The overall trend is up when price is above the cloud, known as Kumo Cloud, down when price is below the Kumo Cloud, and trendless or transitioning when price is in the Kumo Cloud
When Senkou Span A (Leading Span A) is rising and above Senkou Span B (Leading Span B), this helps confirm the uptrend and space between the lines is typically colored green. When Senkou Span A is falling and below Senkou Span B, this helps confirm the downtrend. The space between the lines is typically colored red
Traders often use the Kumo Cloud as an area of support and resistance depending on the relative location of the price. The Kumo Cloud provides support/resistance levels that can be projected into the future. This sets the Ichimoku Cloud apart from many other technical indicators that only provide support and resistance levels for the current date and time
Crossovers, also known as TK Cross among Ichimoku Cloud traders, are another way the indicator can be used. Watch for the Tenkan-Sen Line, or Conversion Line, to move above the Kijun-Sen Line, or Base Line, especially when price is above the Kumo cloud. This can be a powerful buy signal. One option is to hold the trade until the Tenkan-Sen drops back below the Kijun-Sen Line. Any of the other lines could be used as exit points as well.
With this study:
Allow Traders to use the Ichimoku Cloud in conjunction with other technical indicators to maximize their risk-adjusted returns
The Ichimoku Cloud can make a chart look busy with all the lines. To Remedy this a different approach is applied in this study showing the Price and the Kumo Cloud relation as well as TK Crosses displayed. The SuperTrend Indicator is chosen to display Ichimoku Indicator, where the SuperTrend is another trend following indicator.
How it works:
SuperTrend Line is colored as:
Green when the Price is above the Kumo Cloud
Red when the Price is below the Kumo Cloud
Black when the Price is within the Kumo Cloud
And Finally Blue when the Kumo Cloud Is not ready to be drawn or not Kumo Cloud available
Additionally intensity of the colors used in all cases above are defined by values of Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen Line, which allows us to detect TK Crosses
2- Plots Colored Directional Movement Line
Definition
Directional Movement (DMI) (created by J. Welles Wilder ) is actually a collection of three separate indicators combined into one. Directional Movement consists of the Average Directional Index (ADX) , Plus Directional Indicator (+D I) and Minus Directional Indicator (-D I) . ADX's purposes is to define whether or not there is a trend present. It does not take direction into account at all. The other two indicators (+DI and -DI) are used to compliment the ADX. They serve the purpose of determining trend direction. By combining all three, a technical analyst has a way of determining and measuring a trend's strength as well as its direction.
This study combines all three lines in a single colored shapes series plotted on the top of the price chart indicating the trend strength with different colors and its direction with triangle up and down shapes.
What to look for
Trend Strength : Analyzing trend strength is the most basic use for the DMI. Wilder believed that a DMI reading above 25 indicated a strong trend, while a reading below 20 indicated a weak or non-existent trend
Crosses : DI Crossovers are the significant trading signal generated by the DMI
With this study
A Strong Trend is assumed when ADX >= 25
Bullish Trend is defined as (+D I > -DI ) and (ADX >= 25), which is plotted as green triangle up shape on top of the price chart
Bearish Trend is defined as (+D I < -DI ) and (ADX >= 25), which is plotted as red triangle down shape on top of the price chart
Week Trend is assumed when 17< ADX < 25, which is plotted as black triangles up or down shape, depending on +DI-DI values, on top of the price chart
Non-Existent Trend is assumed when ADX < 17, which is plotted as yellow triangles up or down shape, depending on +DI-DI values, on top of the price chart
Additionally intensity of the colors used in all cases above are defined by comparing ADX’s current value with its previous value
3- Volume Based Colored Bars indicator created by Kıvaç ÖZBİLGİÇ
Volume Based Colored Bars colors the bars into volume weighted signals increasing the visibility of the Volume changes. Intensity of the colors of the bars varies according to average value of the volume for given length of bars (default value set to 30 bars)
