This indicator allows users to anchor three types of moving averages (Simple Moving Average (SMA), Exponential Moving Average (EMA), and Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP)) to specific points in time (anchor points)
Key Features:
Select from three Moving Average Types:
Simple Moving Average (SMA): Averages the closing prices over a specified period.
Exponential Moving Average (EMA): Gives more weight to recent prices, making it more responsive to new information.

Up to Three Anchor Points:
Users can set up to three different anchor points to calculate the moving averages from specific dates and times. This allows for analysis of price action starting from significant points or specific events. For example, you can anchor to the low and high of a move to identify key levels or to points where the price takes off from a previous anchored MA.
Customisable Sentiment Options:
Each anchor point can be associated with a sentiment input (Auto, Bull, Bear, None), which influences if the MAs are displayed as lines or zones/bands:
Auto: Automatically determines the sentiment based on whether anchor points are on pivot highs and lows. If anchored to a pivot high, the system will assume a bearish sentiment and display a red band or zone between the MA OHLC4 and High. Anchoring to a pivot low will display a green band (OHLC4 - Low).
Bull: Forces a bullish sentiment (Green Band - OHLC4 to Low)
Bear: Forces a bearish sentiment (Red Band - OHLC4 to High)
None: Ignores sentiment and displays a single line (OHLC4)
Chart Matching:
The indicator includes an option to display the moving averages only if the chart symbol matches a specified ticker. This feature ensures that the indicator is relevant to the specific asset being analysed.
How to Use the Indicator:
1. Set Anchor Points: When added to your chart, select three anchor points by point and click. If you only wish to anchor to a single point, click on that point three times and disable the other two in settings once the indicator is applied.
2. Select Moving Average Type: Choose between SMA, EMA, or VWAP using the dropdown menu. EMAs are the most responsive.
3. Enable/Disable Anchor Points: Use the checkboxes to enable or disable each anchor point.
4. Select Sentiment Type: Choose between Auto, Bull, Bear, or None.
5. Chart Matching: Optionally, specify a chart symbol to restrict the indicator's display to that particular asset.
6. Interpret the Plots: The indicator plots the high, mid, and low values of the selected moving average type from each anchor point. The fills between these plots help identify potential support and resistance zones. These should be used as points of interest for pullback reversals or potential continuation if the price breaks through.
Practical Applications:
Trend Analysis: Identify the overall trend direction from specific historical points.
Support and Resistance: Determine key dynamic support and resistance levels based on anchored moving averages.
Event-Based Analysis: Anchor the moving averages to significant events (e.g., earnings releases, economic data) to study their impact on price trends.
Multi Timeframe Analysis: Higher Timeframe Anchors can be used to identify longer term trend analysis. Switching to a lower timeframe for execution triggers at these points wont distort the MA levels as they are anchored to a specific point in time
Intraday or Swing Trading: trend analysis using anchor points can be used for any style of trading (Intraday / Swing / Invest). Use anchored levels as points of interest and wait for hints in price action to try and catch the next move.

Many traders watch for moving average crossovers – such as the golden cross (50 MA crossing above 200 MA) or death cross – as signals of changing trends. However, once a crossover happens, the exact price level where it occurred often fades from view, even though that level can be an important reference point. Moving Averages Cross Levels is an indicator that keeps those crossover price levels visible on your chart, helping you track where momentum shifts occurred and how price behaves relative to those key levels.
This tool plots horizontal line segments at the price where each pair of selected moving averages crossed within a recent window of bars. Each level is labeled with the moving average lengths (for example, “21×50” for a 21/50 MA cross) and is color-coded – green for bullish crossovers (short-term MA crossing above long-term MA) and red for bearish crossunders (short-term crossing below). By visualizing these crossover levels, you can quickly identify past trend change points and use them as potential support/resistance or decision levels in your trading. Importantly, this indicator is non-repainting – once a crossover level is plotted, it remains fixed at the historical price where the cross occurred, allowing you to continually monitor that level going forward. Older crossover lines beyond this lookback window will automatically clear off the chart.
✅ Optional MA Plots: You can toggle the display of each moving average line on the chart. This means you can either view just the crossover levels alone for a clean look, or also overlay the MA curves themselves for additional context (to see how price and MAs were moving around the crossover).
✅ No Repainting or Hindsight Bias: Once a crossover level is plotted, it stays at that fixed price. The indicator doesn’t move levels around after the fact – each line is a true historical event marker. This allows you to backtest visually: see how price acted after the crossover by observing if it retested or respected that level later.
How It Works:
1️⃣ Add to Chart & Configure – Simply add the indicator to your chart. In the settings, choose which moving averages you want to include and set their lengths. For example, you might enable 21, 50, 200 to focus on medium and long-term crosses (including the golden cross), or turn on shorter MAs like 5 and 8 for quick momentum shifts. Adjust the lookback (number of bars to scan for crosses) if needed.
2️⃣ Visualization – The script continuously checks the latest X bars for any points where one MA crossed above or below another. Whenever a crossover is found, it calculates the exact price level at which the two moving averages intersected. On the last bar of your chart, it will draw a horizontal line segment extending from the crossover bar to the current bar at that price level, and place a label to the right of the line with the MA lengths. Green lines/labels signify bullish crossovers (where the first MA crossed above the second), and red lines indicate bearish crossunders.
3️⃣ On Your Chart – You will see these labeled levels aligned with the price scale. For example, if a 50 MA crossed above a 200 MA (bullish) 50 bars ago at price $100, there will be a green “50×200” line at $100 extending to the present, showing you exactly where that golden cross happened. You might notice price pulling back near that level and bouncing, or if price falls back through it, it could signal a failed crossover. The indicator updates in real-time: if a new crossover happens on the latest bar, a new line and label will instantly appear, and if any old cross moves out of the lookback range, its line is removed to keep the chart focused.
4️⃣ Customization – You can fine-tune the appearance: toggle any MA’s visibility, change line colors or label styles, and modify the lookback length to suit different timeframes. For instance, on a 1-hour chart you might use a lookback of 500 bars to see a few weeks of cross history, whereas on a daily chart 100 bars (about 4–5 months) may be sufficient. Adjust these settings based on how many crossover levels you find useful to display.

Moving Averages are price based, lagging (or reactive) indicators that display the average price of a security over a set period of time.
A Moving Average is a good way to gauge momentum as well as to confirm trends, and define areas of support and resistance.
█ Bollinger Bands
Bollinger Bands consist of a band of three lines which are plotted in relation to security prices.
The line in the middle is usually a Simple Moving Average (SMA) set to a period of 20 days (the type of trend line and period can be changed by the trader, a 20 day moving average is by far the most popular).
The SMA then serves as a base for the Upper and Lower Bands which are used as a way to measure volatility by observing the relationship between the Bands and price.
█ Rolling VWAP
The typical VWAP is designed to be used on intraday charts, as it resets at the beginning of the day.
Such VWAPs cannot be used on daily, weekly or monthly charts. Instead, this rolling VWAP uses a time period that automatically adjusts to the chart's timeframe.
You can thus use the rolling VWAP on any chart that includes volume information in its data feed.
Because the rolling VWAP uses a moving window, it does not exhibit the jumpiness of VWAP plots that reset.

Usage
The indicator returns two outputs.
The "Price Above MA's" output returns for a current price value the number of times this one is greater than simple moving averages with periods ranging from Minimum Length to Maximum Length . This oscillator can be expressed as a percentage if Normalized is selected.
This oscillator allows identifying the direction of an underlying trend in the price. Higher Minimum Length and Maximum Length settings will return indications regarding longer term price variations, while shorter ranges will return less detailed outputs. This can be seen in the chart above where Minimum Length = 80 to Maximum Length = 100 .
The "Proximity Index" output on the other end does not return information regarding the direction of an underlying trend but the period of the simple moving average with periods ranging from Minimum Length to Maximum Length that is the closest to the current price value.
For various simple moving averages of differing periods, we can see that SMA's with shorter periods will tend to stay closer to the price, when price start reverting it will reach higher periods moving averages.
As such, this second indicator output can help identify the start of new trends, with higher values indicating price is reverting toward longer-term moving averages, suggesting a new trend forming.

This is a script that lets you have 3 moving averages (of a user defined type) and maybe have an alternative cloud (fill) between them. The cloud can be customized and turned on/off in the "style" tab for the indicator.
Alerts can be configured to fire on up/down/all crosses and are activated when the whole candle has crossed the morning average.
A higher time frame can be configured for the moving averages.
You can hide the moving average, but show the cloud:

Moving Averages Ribbon (7 EMAs/SMAs)This Indicator provides a combination which is suitable for visualizing many Simple Moving Averages (SMAs) and Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs). There are 7 possible periods 5,9,20,50,100,200,250. There is a possibility to show only EMAs or only SMAs or both. EMAs have thinner curves by default, to be able to distinguish them from SMAs. Additionally, there are highlighted channels between the MAs of the highs and the MAs of the lows, showing a channel of specific moving averages. It comes with a presetting showing EMAs 5,9,20,50,200 and SMAs 9,20,50,200, while the MA channels are only visible for 9 and 50.

Moving Averages Convergence (Agulhada do Didi)The script is based on a strategy developed by Odir “Didi” Aguiar called “Agulhada do Didi”.
It consists in the use of 3 moving averages:

SMA 21
Strategy:
When the averages come together, preferably they pass through a candle, there is a signal. The crossing of the short average (3) with the long average (21) provides us with a confirma-tion of the entry.
Buy:
The average of 3 periods comes out on top, 8 goes in the middle and 21 goes down.
Sell:
Average of 21 periods comes out on top, 8 in the middle and 3 down.

Moving Averages HistogramAn interesting idea is to simplify the display of whether ONE fast-moving average crosses FIVE other slower-moving averages using just a histogram.
The idea is to increase the step counter by 1 every time a fast-moving average crosses OVER one of the five slower-moving averages until reaching 5 (highest value) and decrease the step counter by 1 every time the fast-moving average crosses UNDER each one of the five slower moving averages until reaching 0 (lowest value of the histogram).

If the histogram is at the top value 5 (green), it means the FAST moving average is ABOVE ALL slower-moving averages, Hench, the asset is up trending.
If the histogram is at the bottom value 0 (red), it means the FAST moving average is BELOW ALL slower-moving averages, Hench, the asset is down trending.
If the histogram is in the midways between 0 to 5, it means the FAST moving average is starting to cross the slower moving averages which could lead to a trend reversal, up or down, it depends on the direction of the crossing.

You can reduce the number of slow-moving averages by placing the same length.

Note that the fast-moving average should have the lowest length.

Moving Averages Linear CombinatorLinearly combining moving averages can provide relatively interesting results such as a low-lagging moving averages or moving averages able to produce more pertinent crosses with the price.
As a remainder, a linear combination is a mathematical expression that is based on the multiplication of two variables (or terms) with two coefficients (also called scalars when working with vectors) and adding the results, that is:

This expression is a linear combination , with x/y as variables and a/b as coefficients. Lot of indicators are made from linear combinations of moving averages, some examples include the double/triple exponential moving average, least squares moving average and the hull moving average.
Today proposed indicator allow the user to combine many types of moving averages together in order to get different results, we will introduce each settings of the indicator as well as how they affect the final output.
Explaining The Effects Of Linear Combinations
There are various ways to explain why linear combination can produce low-lagging moving averages, lets take for example the linear combination of a fast SMA of period p/2 and slow simple moving average of period p , the linear combination of these two moving averages is described as follows:
MA = 2SMA(p/2) + -1SMA(p)
Which is equivalent to:
MA = 2SMA(p/2) - SMA(p) = SMA(p/2) + SMA(p/2) - SMA(p)
We can see the above linear combinations consist in adding a bandpass filter to the fast moving average, which of course allow to reduce the lag. It is important to note that lag is reduced when the first moving average term is more reactive than the second moving average term. In case we instead use:

we would have a combination between a low-pass and band-reject filter.
The Indicator
The indicator is based on the following linear combination:
Coeff × LeadingMA(length) - (Coeff-1) × LaggingMA(length)
The length setting control both moving averages period, leading control the type of moving average used as leading MA, while lagging control the type of MA used as lagging moving average, in order to get low lag results the leading MA should be more reactive than the lagging MA. Coeff control the coefficients of the linear combination, with higher values of coeff amplifying the effects of the linear combination, negative values of coeff would make a low-lag moving average become a lagging moving average, coeff = 1 return the leading MA, coeff = -1 return the lagging MA. The leading period divisor allow to divide the period of the leading MA by the selected number.
The types of moving average available are: simple, exponentially weighted, triangular, least squares, hull and volume weighted. The lagging MA allow you to select another MA on the chart as input.

The proposed tool allow the user to create a custom moving averages by making use of linear combination.
