Doesn't matter where you are, what you're doing, or what the weather is, chances are, you're wearing some form of footwear, right? The universal need for things to go on our feet means there's always going to be a market for shoes, and where there's a market, there's profit.

The shoe and sneaker manufacturing industry is highly competitive and dominated by some big players – Nike, Adidas etc. So where's the value? Well there's quite a few smaller brands to consider: we've listed out the biggest companies in the US and Europe who design and manufacture their own footwear as a huge part of their product set, with a minimum market cap of 500m.
