VanEck Ethereum ETF (ETHV) is an exchange-traded fund providing exposure to Ether (ETH). The investment objective of ETHV is to mirror the performance of Ether's price, minus operational expenses. Shares are physically backed by Ether, securely held in cold storage by a qualified custodian. The fund's shares are valued daily based on the MarketVector™ Ethereum Benchmark Rate, which is calculated using prices from the top five ETH trading platforms, as identified by the industry-leading CCData Centralized Exchange Benchmark review report. ETHV issues shares on a continuous basis and sells or redeems them in blocks of 25,000. The fund was launched on June 25, 2024.
