Grupo Security SA engages in the provision of banking and financial services. It operates through the following segments: Lending, Asset Management, Insurance, International Business and Other Services. The Lending segment provides lending services to companies and individuals. The Asset Management segment offers financial services by developing and distributing specialized financial products and personalized investment and asset management services. The Insurance segment consists of life insurance, insurance brokerage, and assistance industries. The International Business segment has investments in insurance and travel businesses. The Other services segment dedicated to the real estate, travel agency and tourism businesses. The company was founded by Renato Peñafiel Muñoz in 1981 and is headquartered in Las Condes, Chile.
