XWEB provides equal-weighted exposure to the internet segment of an index that represents the broad US equity market. The funds portfolio comprises of internet retail, software, and services stocks, as defined by GICS. Since XWEB focuses on internet companies within the technology sector, it avoids hardware and semiconductors. In addition, equal-weighting puts emphasis on smaller capitalization companies, and as such, the fund deviates from plain-vanilla funds in the same segment. The index is rebalanced quarterly.
