Centrum Capital Ltd. is a holding company, which engages in the provision of merchant and investment banking services. It operates through the following segments: Banking Business, Institutional Business, Wealth Management & Distribution, Housing Finance, and SME & Micro Credit Lending. The Banking Business segment refers to banking activities. The Institutional Business segment comprises mainly of investment banking, trading in bonds, institutional broking activity and investment advisory services thereby earning transaction-based fees. The Wealth Management & Distribution segment consists of portfolio management, wealth management, and retail broking activities. The Housing Finance segment provides housing loans. The SME & Micro Credit Lending segment focuses on the provision of loans to small businesses in semi-urban areas. The company was founded by Chandir Gobind Gidwani, Jaspal Bindra Singh, and Khushrooh Byramjee on November 18, 1977 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India.
