EEW Energy from Waste already significantly contributes to the protection of our climate and resources. The 37 modern plants at 19 locations within our corporate group energetically recycle approximately five million tons of waste each year, with environmentally friendly disposal. We efficiently utilise energy contained within waste and generate process steam for industrial companies, district heating for residential areas and environmentally compatible electricity for approximately 500,000 households.
