GBK Beteiligungen AG is a listed evergreen private equity fund, which engages investment opportunities in privately held mid-market companies located in the German-speaking region. It invests in a wide variety of sectors, including producer manufacturing, services, and trade, but generally targets companies in the industries of automotive, electrical engineering, and mechanical & plant engineering, among others. The fund provides equity, debt, and mezzanine financing for buyouts, MBOs, MBIs, spin-offs, and growth capital requirements, in the form of both direct and silent participations, as well as shareholder loans. The company was founded in 1969 and is headquartered in Hannover, Germany.
