MHP SE operates as a holding company, which engages in the poultry business. It operates through the following segments: Poultry and Related Operations; Grain Growing; and Other Agricultural. The Poultry and Related Operations segment refers to the supply of chicken and other meat products to a number of nationwide supermarket chains, including Fozzy, ATB-Market, Metro Cash & Carry, ECO, Novus, and Auchan as well as the production and sale of vegetable oils as by-product of its fodder production, mainly to international traders. The Grain Growing segment is the grain cultivation businesses in Ukraine growing corn, sunflower, and soybean to support the vertical integration of its chicken production. The Other Agricultural segment relates to meat-processing which include the production of variety of sausages, smoked chicken, and chilled and frozen cooked convenience food predominantly from chicken meat. The company was founded by Yuriy Kosyuk on May 30, 2006 and is headquartered in Kyiv, Ukraine.
