SPX Elliott Wave Count (EW)As per EW, SPX is most probably in wave 5 of primary wave 3. I'm expecting primary wave 4 to start sometime in mid-August & may correct up to 20% to conclude wave 4. It's possible that wave 3 ends sooner than expected, but the ideal time according to fib time extension is mid-August.
Be with trend until it changes1) Strong trendline support
2) RSI support of 40
whenever rsi level comes to 40 , that would be buying the dip
S&P500Since May last year, S&P500 has tested 50-day 8 times -- all successfully. With investor sentiment elevated, but not forthy, another test likely is around the corner.

Negative divergence on RSI
Further rise for upside momentum is above 4260.
For near term to short term,
exit long and sell till 4260 is not crossed.
Trend line support might try to protect the slide.
If sustains below the trend line then expect 4061
base to be tested.
Next best opportunity to invest and start new
long trade is only when RSI hit oversold or create positive divergence.
For new and fresh trader want to take position need to wait.

Breakout above the lower top is essential as it is
confirmation of the breakout and positive divergence.
trendline support in SP500nicely poised at trendline support but if breaks on a closing basis we might see 3980 in quick time.
any monthly closing below 3980 will confirm the reversal, till then you can hold your bullish view.
SPX at the supporting trendline we saw good selling this week with good volume.
if it breaks the trendline on closing basic will enter the cloud and might take support around 3980 if it manages to close below that level in monthly candle we might consider it as a reversal point.
