The Physical Engineering segment focuses on all activities related to the validation of physical parts, components, systems, powertrains, and vehicle as a whole. The Electrical Systems or Electronics segment provides conventional automotive electrical systems together with automotive electronics, including the development of electronic modules. The company was founded by Harry Bertrandt in 1974 and is headquartered in Ehningen, Germany.
