Mike, my contact, did a good job walking me through my frustration and issues. He resolved a concern I had logically and technically. He was patient and respectful, despite my clear frustration. I saw stops get hit that candles on Trading View did not touch, multiple times. I went looking for answers, because I'd never had such irregular slippage that wasn't represented on screen. I would take limit orders, and profit would be half of what was showing when I clicked. Sometimes I'd be 40 bucks into profit, decide trend was changing and hit a limit order, and still go down money. On a limit order? I experienced quantum weirdness while using this broker compared to my previous one - which never once did not fill as I expected. Mike, the convo we had was good, you explained yourself well. Maybe it is this market, maybe it is just me.

If you're in Canada, and looking to trade Futures, Ironbeam will work for well for you. The customer service is top notch. I had all of my emailed questions answered professionally and promptly, which is very important to me. I had originally emailed another broker, but the response were lacking clear answers, so they lost me as a potential customer. With Ironbeam, I did not have that problem, and had all of my concerns addressed fully and clearly. I also use TradingView as my charting service. Since I like TradingView charts, I wanted to trade a live account through them. I am able to do that with Ironbeam. I was able to connect my Ironbeam account to it easily today. I haven't made any live trades yet, but things have gone well for me so far. The commissions are very reasonable as well. The one recommendation I have is in regards to banking accounts. I would set up a new chequing account, and use it exclusively for your Futures account. That makes it easy to manage your records. It also allows you to send a cheque to open your account, rather than wire the money, which cost $45 - $65 CAD, depending on your bank. Have your bank convert the CAD to USD before you send the money. So yeah, If you're a Canadian who is trying to find a US broker to trade Futures with, give Ironbeam a try.
