I am aware I haven't updated gold chart, I have some exciting stuff coming up for gold charts. Will add more with time.

So replay the chart right above this. See how the spike came AFTER the 3 arrows pointing up (black blue red)? If you read the notes in that that post, you'll see where I noted that if it takes too long, it changes the curve and can shift the next set of curves down. While that hasn't happened yet, it has however forces enough change to bring more "wrinkles in the move up" or waves up and down.
