KEY POINTS Company History CCL was initially registered as The Sahayak Finance and Investment Corporation Limited in 1961. The name was changed to Continental Coffee Limited in 1994 when it started producing instant coffee, and finally to the present name of CCL in 2002.
Product Details CCL Products produces 250+ blends of Instant coffee for leading global coffee manufacturers in 90+ countries which constitutes the export business. It is the world's largest private label manufacturer with capacities of 35,000 Metric tonnes in both Spray-dried (24,000 tonnes) and Freeze-dried (11,000 tonnes) capacity with plants in India, Vietnam, and agglomeration capacities in Switzerland.
Leading Coffee Brand The branded business in the domestic market has been growing aggressively to become the number 3 instant coffee brand in India. In FY22 ‘Continental Coffee’ won the prestigious Brand of the Year award conferred by Marksmen Group, in association with India Today.
Manufacturing Facilities the company has state-of-the-art Soluble Instant Coffee Manufacturing located in Andhra Pradesh, India. The company has the distinction of setting up India’s first Freeze. Dried Instant Coffee Manufacturing Plant in the year 2005 at this facility. With an emerging demand for its freeze-dried coffee, one more freeze-dried unit has been put up at Kuvvakolli, Andhra Pradesh.
