The Walt Disney Co DIS is wrapped up in bad press and is predicting a future decline in theme park revenue (recession red flag...). However, the company has historically had tricks up its sleeve to return to prominence in an ever-changing entertainment environment (last was streaming). The potential of AI and robotic technology benefiting Disney is huge. The recent dip to $84.00 is a personal buy zone.
A word of caution: there may be an amazing opportunity near $50.00 if the "recession" is announced and the company, like other entertainment industries, take a massive hit. That's where the true opportunity lies for this American staple. At $84.00, though, a "starter position" is my mindset until the stock rotates to an upward trend.
