ETH on slippery slope prior to CPI data?

ETH has fallen from 17xx to 168x at the time of writing as it failed numerous time to break 178x resistance. Volume Profile doesn't look solid at this price range. Foresee it may drop lower to 163x range. However, it has been a roller coaster ride for the last few weeks as ETH keeps defying the norm. Let's see 13 Sept CPI data takes us.
