The price of the parity has reached the upper band of the expanding diagonal, but the price doesn’t bounce off towards the lower band of the formation. Instead, it is swinging just below the upper band. As long as the price stays above 1.7000-1.7060 range, it will return to the upper band in the vicinity of 1.7400.
