Trying to work on a new "Key Hidden Level" that might be useful for a reference in the stock market.
What is a "Key Hidden Level"? A Key Hidden Level is a price level where something important happened and is a useful reference level for the market for quite some time after the event. Examples: Earnings Reports (or "quarterly updates" since these days not every company makes a profit), News Releases, or VIX Spikes, among others.
The initial research seems interesting enough to me to put here to reference again.
What I'm looking for is when Gold spikes up $50 within 3-days from a low to a high. I will research other amounts and percentages, but I think $50 is a good "psychological" amount of move in Gold that catches everyone's attention. There's no magic to that $50, just my own sense of where to start with the idea and research from there.
This is how I found the Key Earnings Levels which have been so useful at finding support and resistance in stocks.
Wishing you all safe and happy holidays along with a joyous New Year's celebration!
