I have been researching long term trading ideas/investment strategies for a while now and I realised simply increasing the time frame will not translate into long term investments. The research I found suggests that there is a positive expectancy in simply buying the market which crosses above ATH or 52-week high. Another important thing I learned along the way is the reason for the same. A stock that breaks an all-time high/52 week high is indicating that the market has already voted which stock should move higher and it is wise to just join the bandwagon instead of bottom-fishing.
