Its a consolidation phase.. Pls apply volume profile to see weather price is being accepted or rejected.

@pandeyam, If you are pro user you can see VOLUME PROFILE as an indicator in your indicator list. Or if you have a ZERODHA trading account, you can get it for free in KITE. VOLUME PROFILE/MARKET PROFILE tells about the price acceptance and rejection based on number of shares/contracts traded at a single price point. based on this you can take decession on staying long/exiting or Staying short/exit.

For trading Indices use Market breadth systems, they can give you key insights in to money flow in to the underlying assets. One has to ask a question why markets are moving up/down. And at the end everyone finds a point that its only on the interest of the find the right value for the asset.

ex: if you are planning to buy a car, you will compare it with its peers to find the right car that suits you and best in value for the price. same principle goes with anything in this world, markets or even a small pen/pencil. finding the right value of price the key
