Titan Wings 3 (by Oberlunar)

Updated
Titan Wings 3 (by Oberlunar) is an indicator designed to provide a detailed analysis of market conditions. This indicator combines multiple technical tools, including volatility measures, moving averages, and dynamic bands, to identify trading opportunities based on trends and shifts in volatility. By calculating the standard deviation of logarithmic returns, Titan Wings measures market volatility and uses historical percentiles to determine whether current conditions exhibit high or low volatility.

The indicator incorporates three moving averages: a short-term exponential moving average (EMA with a 21-period length), a medium-term simple moving average (SMA with a 50-period length), and a long-term exponential moving average (EMA with a 200-period length). These moving averages are used to identify market trends. A bullish configuration is indicated when the price is above all the moving averages, while a bearish configuration occurs when the price is below them.

Titan Wings plots dynamic bands based on moving averages, ATR (Average True Range), and standard deviation, creating zones that highlight potential breakouts or consolidations. It also provides visual labels for potential long or short signals based on the relative distance of the price from the moving averages, normalizing these distances to assess signal strength. Additionally, the indicator tracks historical signals, making it suitable for backtesting and performance evaluation.

Titan Wings is valuable for traders as it offers a multidimensional view of market dynamics by integrating trend detection, volatility analysis, and signal generation. It aids in understanding whether the market is trending, ranging, or experiencing unusual volatility, helping traders make informed decisions and manage risks effectively.
