Comments

Im trying to code this out in python. Can anyone point me in a direction as to what the below represents. Is smoothe simply when the MA crosses above/below the smoothed price line? Is smoothed simply an average price line here? Im trying to figure out what actually causes the colour to change here. Any help will be much appreciated!!

smoothe = input(2, minval=1, maxval=10, title="Color Smoothing - 1 = No Smoothing")
ma_up = out1 >= out1

Thankyou for this code. In V4 I get a compile error from this line

resCustom = input(title="Use Different Timeframe? Uncheck Box Above", type=resolution, defval="D")

The error reads: Undeclared identifier 'resolution';

Can you please give the way to write this in V4? I understand the rest of the code, just can't get the resolution variable to work. Thanks!!

Hi Chris, Thank you for your script.
Could you please add weekly timeframe to it?
Thank you in advance.

Chris just an inquiry from coding POV-
Below is code in line 45 -avg = atype == 1 ? sma(src,len) : atype == 2 ? ema(src,len) : atype == 3 ? wma(src,len) : atype == 4 ? hullma : atype == 5 ? vwma(src, len) : atype == 6 ? rma(src,len) : atype == 7 ? 3 * (ema1 - ema2) + ema3 : tilT3
Instead of writing whole Tema func -( 3 * (ema1 - ema2) + ema3 ) why not write the Tema as declared in line 36 and 52 .

Thanks in advance .

Great work from first impressions. Is one able to apply alerts to the colour changes?
