The fund provides exposure to the US large-cap high profitability segment. It utilizes a blended investment approach that combines research, portfolio design, portfolio management, and trading to generate long-term returns. The portfolio consists of US large-cap companies that are deemed to have high profitability, after exhibiting high earnings or profits from operations in relation to their book value or assets. The adviser defines large-caps as companies whose market capitalizations are: i) in the highest 90% of the selection universes total market-cap, or ii) larger than or equal to the 1,000th largest US company, whichever results in the higher market-cap break. The criteria that the adviser uses for assessing profitability are subject to change from time to time. In addition, the adviser has full discretion to adjust a securitys exposure and increase or decrease emphasis on certain companies after taking into account several factors, including relative price and momentum.
