It operates through the following portfolio segments: Strategic, Large Caps, Emerging Companies, Private Equity, Structured Yield, and Property. The Strategic segment comprises significant investments in uncorrelated listed companies where WHSP has board representation. The Large Caps segment is an actively managed, Australian listed equities portfolio. The Emerging Companies segment consists of investing in attractive, early-stage and high growth companies that are listed, about to undertake an Initial Public Offering (IPO) or are at a pre-IPO stage. The Private Equity segment includes long-term investments in unlisted companies to support their future growth. The Structured Yield segment contains investments in corporate loans and hybrid instruments. The Property segment refers to direct investments that are actively managed with an aim of generating superior long-term returns from passive ownership. The company was founded by Caleb Soul in 1872 and is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
