The Inside Bangladesh segment comprises of SEBL (Conventional and Islamic Banking); Offshore Banking Units; and SEBL Capital Services Ltd. The Outside Bangladesh segment consists of SouthEast Financial Services (UK) Ltd.; Southeast Financial Services (Australia) Pty Ltd.; and Southeast Exchange Company (South Africa) Pty Ltd. The company was founded by M. A. Kashem on March 12, 1995 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
