It operates through the following business segments: Raw Materials, Cork Stoppers, Floor and Wall Coverings, Composite Cork, Insulation Cork, and Holding. The Raw Materials segment offers bark and discs. The Cork Stoppers segment provides different kinds of cork stoppers for bottling countries such as France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Portugal as well as United States, Australia, Chile, South Africa, and Argentina. The Floor and Wall Coverings segment is responsible for production and distribution of cork floor and wall coverings. The Composite Cork segment specializes in research, development, and the supply of cork composite solutions for transport, aviation, aerospace industry, as well as construction and design. The Insulation Cork segment is dedicated to the generation of acoustic and thermal insulation agglomerates. The company was founded in 1870 and is headquartered in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal.
