Protasco Bhd. is an investment holding company, which engages in the provision of infrastructure development and engineering solutions. It operates through the following business segments: Maintenance; Construction; Property Development; Engineering Services; Trading and Manufacturing; Education; Clean Energy; and Others. The Maintenance segment undertakes the maintenance of federal and state roads. The Construction segment designs, constructs, upgrades, and rehabilitates buildings and other infrastructures. The Property Development segment develops commercial and residential properties. The Engineering Services segment offers full spectrum of civil engineering work and related services. The Trading and Manufacturing segment includes the distribution and production of construction materials. The Education segment provides tertiary education. The Clean Energy segment provides solar panel installation contract works and supply of power and electricity derived from solar power plant. The Others segment represents investment holding activities. The company was founded by Hasnur Rabiain bin Ismail and Ket Pen Chong in 1991 and is headquartered in Kajang, Malaysia.
