SDS fundamentals

SDS Group Bhd. is an investment holding company, which through its subsidiaries, engages in the manufacturing and distributing of bakery products. It operates through the following segments: Retail, Wholesale, and Other segment. The Retail segment involves in the manufacture of products and dealing directly with ultimate customers through the group's retail outlets. The Wholesale segment deals with the manufacture and distribution of products to the retailer through the group's fleet of lorries. The Other segment includes group level management services. The company was founded by Kim Seng Tan and Kim Chai Tan in 1987 and is headquartered in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
