SBS fundamentals

Scandinavian Brake Systems A/S deals with development, production, sourcing, distribution and sale of parts in brake technology and related areas. It operates through the following segments: SBS Automotive, SBS Friction and Other. The SBS Automotive segment includes sourcing, completion, inventory management, branding, and distribution of brake parts, steering components, and other wear parts for the European fleet of cars. The SBS Friction segment develops, manufactures, and distributes brake pads and friction solutions for motorcycles, scooters and other two-wheeled vehicles. The Other segment comprises of group management, finance, and other group-related specialist functions. Scandinavian Brake Systems was founded by Henning Hansen in 1964 and is headquartered in Svendborg, Denmark.
