The fund searches for quality among the global high dividend yield stocks. The fund includes large- and midcap stocks that have consistent higher than average dividend and screens out firms that have not had consistently positive dividend growth over the last five years, as well as those with less than 1.2x the average dividend yield of the MSCI ACWI (ex-REITS). Quality factors such as ROE, earnings variability, cash return on assets and leverage are also included in the selection. These quality factors are normalized by region and produces a quality z-score which ranks the 100 stocks to be included in the index. The securities are weighted by market cap and quality z-score, capped at 2% per issuer. The index is rebalanced on a semi-annual basis.
