ดอลลาร์สหรัฐมีประสิทธิภาพเหนือกว่าคู่ค้ารายใหญ่ในช่วงสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ราคาทองคำได้รับผลกระทบอย่างหนักเนื่องจากอัตราผลตอบแทนของกระทรวงการคลังในระยะยาวพุ่งสูงขึ้น อาจเป็นเพราะตลาดการเงินกำหนดอัตราดอกเบี้ยปิดที่สูงขึ้นจาก Federal Reserve ท่ามกลางข้อมูลเศรษฐกิจที่แข็งแกร่ง
