Just kidding. Solana software architects again forgot to run tests for one of the functions that defines the block validator. Because this function stopped working, there was essentially no one to validate the block and the blockchain stopped working.
This is certainly unpleasant news, but it is not critical. Let me tell you a secret, there is a chance that any L1/L2 blockchain can stop working.
