Price Action with RSI and MACD - Trade with ConvictionFor the purpose of explaining the combined use of these indicators,
I have taken the example of TCS - TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES, which recently gave a clear breakout.
Know your Lines! - By joining the recent highs and recent lows of a share price, we can identify if the share has a well tested Support & Resistance or not. I prefer those with a clear defined pattern simply because all traders are looking out for these levels and there is a pretty good chance they will hold good, if not, you will know its time to exit.
Catch the Support! - The key to any exchange profit is BUYING AT A LOW and SELLING AT A HIGH. While it might sound obvious, majority of people lose out because they FOMO in at a HIGH and then Sell at a Low to cut losses. Classic Failure Strategy. It is pretty normal if a stock is all abuzz in the market, but do not enter it based on the buzz, check if its already too late or not. If at all, buy at a pullback at Fibonacci levels 0.68 or 0.50 ( Higher Success Rate levels )
One Eye on the MACD! - What makes an Indicator exceptional is the number of people using it. RSI, MACD, STOCH are like the biblical indicators which you certainly want to check before taking a position. When the blue line of MACD cuts the signal line from below, and the price is around its support, chances are you will not repent going long.
RSI is your best friend! - RSI is very crucial to avoid buying at a high. When it is above 70( I prefer 80 ), it is better to wait for a pullback. In a bullish market, it usually bounces back from 50, but again it differs from share to share. Identify its key support and a bounce from that level around the price support when MACD is bullish, means its a good set up for a Long Position.
I also prefer to watch out for RSI and MACD divergence to see the momentum of the price. If the RSI or MACD is making lower HIGHS while the Share Price is making Higher HIGHS, it means the momentum is weaking and one must watchout for a nice pullback.
To summarise, Identify the Support and Resistance, Check if MACD has turned bullish when the pricce has pulled back to its support, Check if RSI has bounced from its support and preferably above 50 ( It means bulls are in control ). If everything checks out, it should be an ideal long setup.
I hope you take back something from the explanation, This strategy has almost everytime worked for me. I hope it does for you too.

Let us analyze recent fall and rise events in BTCBitcoin had a fantastic rally this year but also had seen the worst of the falls due to China’s crackdown. Let’s analyze the BTC chart and find out the critical signs we have observed during the fall and also analyze what’s the current situation.
In this analysis, we will be using Trendlines, Supply and Demand Zones, and RSI. We shall understand them briefly.
Trendlines can be ascending or descending lines. The trendlines are formed using at least 2 tops or bottoms. Ascending lines are formed by joining at least 2 higher highs or 2 higher lows which act as support. Descending lines are formed by joining at least 2 lower lows or 2 lower highs which act as resistance.
Applications of Trendline s:
1. They indicate the prevailing trend in the particular duration.
2. They act as support and resistance lines.
3. If ascending trendlines are broken to the downside and the immediate low of the rally is broken then the stock may have a new downtrend.
4. Similarly breaking the descending trendlines to the upside and an immediate high of the prevailing fall indicates the new uptrend.
Supply and Demand Zones are the zones where the price is failing to break out multiple times. Supply zones are the areas of interest for the bears and demand zones are the areas of interest for the bulls.
Applications of Zone s:
1. They represent the critical areas in the chart where the traders or investors are interested.
2. Breakouts in either direction will add momentum in that direction.
Interesting Interpretation of Trendlines and Zones :
1. Ascending trendlines are joined by the points where bulls are interested to go long.
2. Descending trendlines are joined by the points where bears are interested to go short.
3. Similarly demand and supply zones are zones where bulls and bears are interested in long and short respectively.
4. Giving up trendlines and prices going below or above immediate level indicate that the bulls or bears have given up on the stock for a while.
Important Note :
The breakout should be confirmed by checking higher volumes or pull backtest or waiting for the price to take out immediate high or low. This confirmation gives us a confluence between the different schools of thought. Some traders may only follow trendlines for breakouts, some may follow zones, these checks ensure you have more participation towards your position.
Once the trendline or a zone is broken the nature becomes opposite. For example, if a supply zone or a descending line is broken, the price rises and then comes back to test the zone, this time it must act as a demand zone or support line, else it is said to be failed in the pull backtest.
Relative Strength Index (RSI)
It is a momentum indicator of the price in a particular duration. For detailed definition and formula, please check in the indicators section in TradingView.
It is generally used to determine whether the stock is oversold or overbought.
Applications of RSI:
1. Oversold if the price reaches 20 or 30.
2. Overbought if the price reaches 80 or 70.
3. Reversal signs based on divergences. If price is making higher highs or higher lows but on contrary RSI is making lower highs or lower lows. Then it is a sign of bulls giving up and a bearish reversal is on its way.
Let us these concepts and apply to our chart.
You can see supply and demand zones and the trendlines on the chart.
FALL
The supply zone had been tested four times and then took a great fall. You can have a doubt that actually once the price had managed to breakout supply zone with good volumes and crossed immediate higher high but even failed. Yes, here it failed the pullback test. It received resistance from the purple trendline 1 and came back for the pullback test and failed. We can see a bearish divergence by checking corresponding highs trendline 1 connected in RSI. RSI was also indicating overbought signs.
After a certain fall, it rose again to test the zone which now turned to supply zone and couldn’t break. This gave confirmation for the participants of different schools of thought, hence with huge volumes price fell.
RISE
The price reached another critical area called the demand zone. Before falling into the demand zone, the purple trendline 2 gave support to the fall. The corresponding trendline 2 in RSI confirms the bullish divergence and showing oversold signs. This reversal was confirmed by huge volumes, taking out the 40k mark and breaking a strong trendline which resisted price to rise during the fall. The price also took a pullback test and succeeded.
CURRENT SITUATION
After a pullback, BTC made a high of 48k and then formed an intermediate demand zone. The blue trendline is supporting the rise. If the BTC breaks 48k, it can go to test the supply zone. If it breaks the blue trendlines and the intermediate trendline, it can test the 37k level. If the 37k level fails it may test the demand zone again.
We have a minor bearish divergence in RSI and RSI is in the overbought zone.
As we analyzed the fall and rise of BTC, we understood before considering any position, confirmation is necessary.

Using The Fibonacci Retracement and Extension levels I've explained how can can use Fibonacci levels in trading using example of NSE:TATA STEEL
. Firstly know your trading perspective, and choose your chart time frames accordingly
. Now use higher time frame chart and draw FIBONACCI RETRACEMENT TOOL from bottom to top(in Uptrend)
and top to bottom (in downtrend) for current trend.
. Mark the levels using horizontal line, near stock is trading currently
. Use smaller timeframe to get retracement levels in uptrend or in downtrend, and now make Fibonacci extension levels from top to bottom(in uptrend)
and bottom to top(in downtrend) for current swing
. Mark all the important levels, these will work as support and resistance
. Now, using RSI,MACD,EMA sets you can trade your position for these levels

Know When To Stop Trading !!!!🎯When to Stop Trading?
We have spoken up to now about when to stop trading on a particular day. However, it is important to know if you should stop trading altogether – in other words, quit. It is not simple to find the right time to quit because often people quit when the going gets tough, but this may be just before success arrives. However, there are times when quitting is important:
--You can’t see any possible positive outcome for a trading
--You constantly feel overwhelmed and negative about your trading
--Trading takes preference over your health or your family
--Your financial situation is negatively impacted by your trading so that your family is suffering or your mental health is impacted.
These are all red flags. At a minimum, take a break from trading in order to rest, relax and recharge. Save up some trading capital, assess your goals and reflect on your failures and successes. Use this to formulate a new trading strategy, while working on your perspective and objectivity. You may then be ready to try again. The markets are certainly not going anywhere if you need a break and quitting does not need to be forever.

Stock Analysis of Oberoi RealtyPrice - 570.20 Dt. - 21-02-2021
The stock started moving in an up direction after hitting a month low of 520. After moving up for 5 days the stocks started consolidating making a flag pole pattern. From the last 2 sessions, the sellers are trying but not able to give close below the support line. If stock gives a close above the resistance line placed at 596.45, then it can give a huge breakout.

Ascending Triangle Definition:
An ascending triangle is a type of triangle chart pattern that occurs when there is a resistance level and a slope of higher lows.
It is defined by two lines:
. A horizontal resistance line running through peaks.
. An uptrend line drawn through the bottoms.
The higher lows indicate more buyers are gradually entering the market and buying pressure increases as price consolidates moving further towards the apex.
An ascending triangle is classified as a continuation chart pattern.
If price can break through the resistance level, that level will now act as a support level.
Breakouts can also happen in both directions. Statistically, upward breakouts are more likely to occur, but downward ones seem to be more reliable.
In most cases, the buyers will win this battle and the price will break out past the resistance. But Sometimes the resistance level is too strong, and there is simply not enough buying power to push it through. Therefore you should be ready for movement in EITHER direction.
ENTRY:
We would set an entry order above the resistance line and below the slope of the higher lows.
TARGET:
Target is approximately the same distance as the height of the triangle formation.

Long/Short Swing Trading On Basis of Market Behaviour Swing Trading in the current Market:
1) Buy Zone: Here we can make the fresh position on confirmation of reversal from support.
2) Sell Zone: Here we can either book our long side profit or make new short position after confirmation near the resistance level.
3) Breadown Zone: When the market gives a breakdown of this parallel channel then possible strong bearish move in the market. After this breakdown, we can exit all long position and make a new fresh short position for a new low.
4) Breakout zone: If market trading above this parallel channel then expected strong bullish movement in the market for new heigh so we can exit from all short side position after the breakout. Also, We can find new breakout in stocks for the long side.
Moods of Candlesticks 🎚How do you read a candle?
The top or bottom of the candle body
will indicate the open price, depending on whether the asset moves higher or lower during the selected timeframe.
If the price trends up, the candlestick is often either green or white and the open price is at the bottom.
viceversa if price trends down.
Why Candlestick is important?
They indicate market turning points early and estimate the direction of the market.
Overall, Candlesticks provide unique insights.
They display reversal patterns which cannot be seen in other types of charts.
They can be used in all kinds of markets.
Detailed Explanation :-
Real Bodies
Each candlestick is composed of a real body and two wicks (which are also called shadows or tails). The real body is the substantial part of the candle. It reflects the difference between the open and close price for that period.
The open and close prices are the first and last transaction prices for that time period. When there is no real body or the real body is very small, it means the open and close prices were the same or almost the same.
The real bodies are typically one solid color, though they may also be hollow, with only their edges displaying a color. Their coloring depends in part on the color scheme used by your charting platform, but white/black and green/red are commonly utilized.
A white or green candle means the price finished higher over that time period. Because the closing price is higher than the open price, the bottom of the real body represents the open price and the top of the real body represents the close price.
A black or red candle means the price finished lower over that time period. Therefore, the top of the real body is the open price and the bottom of the real body is the close price for that time period.
Wicks or Shadows
The wicks or shadows—the thin lines above and below the real body—represent the movements above and below the open and close prices.
The highest part of the wick on top of the real body marks the high price for that period. If there is no upper wick, then the top of the real body was also the highest price during that period.
The lowest part of the wick on the bottom of the real body marks the low price for that period. If there is no lower wick, then the bottom of the real body was also the lowest price during that period.
The difference between the high and low prices is the price range for the period.
Process Of Value Investing EXPLAINED with chart 🎯 Understanding the process of value investing is easy. But it is not as easy to implement
The process starts with screening stocks based on its history.
-----Stock History:
Value investing is about picking blue chip stocks at discounted price. They represent established companies which has a long history trail. Example: stock analysis worksheet does not accept stocks which has less than 10 years financial data. Warren Buffett will probably look at, at least last 15 years data of a company to estimate its intrinsic value.
----Business Fundamentals:
Stock’s 10 years financial data should be checked to estimate the financial health of a company. Idea is to shortlist those stocks which are fundamentally strong. Value investors will invariably invest in only those companies which are fundamental power houses.
---Price Valuation:
This is the ultimate screener. No matter how established is the company, no matter how strong are its business, it is not enough. Value investors will not rest till it calculates the intrinsic value. To be more sure of the calculation, they will also apply a suitable margin of safety. Once this is done, comparing current price with intrinsic value value will highlight if the stocks is undervalued or overvalued. Undervalued stocks becomes a good buy.
Example
..Consider the case of Tata Steel & Tata Motors. These are the flagship companies of the Tata Group. Probably they will not cease to do business in next 100 years. But it is facing hard times since last 5-6 years.
..The company is doing everything to maintain the shareholders value. Today (in 2020), Tata Steel has takeover Bhushan Steel. Tata Motors has launched new premium cars. This is a hint of their competence.
..A common man must always be in look-out of such business to buy stocks. When we see the past 10 years performance of these companies, it is hard to estimate their intrinsic value. It is because, in the last 10 years, the company has not performed as well. They have been making low sales and lower profits.
..But looking ahead in future, the prospects looks more promising.
CONCLUSION :-
If you want to invest in stock market, you must learn to practice value investing. The investor must at least know how to value stocks of companies. This way he/she will at least not invest blindly.
There are two main ways of valuing stocks. One is done using financial ratios, and other is through intrinsic value calculation.
For people who do not want to go into the hassle of intrinsic value calculation can follow the financial ratio approach. But it is not as reliable.

what type of trader🕵️♀️ are you ?✨SCALPING TRADER :>
The main advantage of scalping is the ability to gain profit from small price changes within the shortest time frame possible, which is often amplified by a larger position size. This is an intra-day type of trading which means that positions are closed before the end of the trading day or session
✨DAY TRADER :>
A day trader buys and subsequently sells financial instruments within the same trading day, which means all the positions that he creates are closed on the same trading day. Due to the short-term nature of day trading, there is less risk involved in it as there’s no risk of something happening overnight to cause a big loss.
✨SWING TRADER :>
Swing Trading is a strategy that focuses on taking smaller gains in short term trends and cutting losses quicker. The gains might be smaller, but done consistently over time they can compound into excellent annual returns. Swing Trading positions are usually held a few days to a couple of weeks, but can be held longer.

divergence set up - some basic learningwhat is Divergence ? 👇
Divergence is when the price of an asset is moving in the opposite direction of a technical indicator, such as an oscillator, or is moving contrary to other data. Divergence warns that the current price trend may be weakening, and in some cases may lead to the price changing direction
what is Oscillator ? 👇
An oscillator is a technical analysis tool that constructs high and low bands between two extreme values, and then builds a trend indicator that fluctuates within these bounds. Traders use the trend indicator to discover short-term overbought or oversold conditions.
how is Oscillator used in Trading ? 👇
Oscillators are chart indicators that can assist a trader in determining overbought or oversold conditions in ranging (non-trending) markets. Most traders use multiple oscillators to confirm range extremes and for determining the important entry and exit points.
🛑Indicators for spotting the divergence indicator patterns are the Awesome Oscillator, macd, the RSI, CCI or stochastic.🛑

Cheat Sheet : Investment products at a Glance 🎯1) Cryptocurrencies: Highest Risk, Highest Return :-
There are 3 main types of Cryptocurrencies in the market now which are the most actively traded – Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. Think of this as a new version of a stock, where the underlying thesis is the idea of decentralized ownership and value. For any other currencies in the market, for eg. USD , it is debt-based and backed by the respective monetary authorities. This also means that they are free to increase or decrease the supply to implement their policies on the market. For cryptocurrencies, they are limited in supply, hence the free market is completely at play here (demand and supply).
2) Stocks: High Risk, Highest Return:-
A stock (also called a share) is a part of ownership in a company. It represents a claim on the company’s assets and earnings and what that entitles you to do is to attend the Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and dividends payout if declared by the company. So essentially by buying into this company, you are betting that the management team and company fundamentals are able to get you more returns.
Total Returns = Capital Appreciation (price increases) + Dividend Payout (cash payouts)
3) Exchange Traded Funds (ETF): High Risk, High Return
Think of ETFs as an investment fund which is traded on a stock market. Essentially when you buy a stock of an ETF, you are buying into a basket of weighted shares. – diversification. Being actively traded also brings many benefits, namely, efficiency as well as liquidity compared to funds where often you would need to go through a long process to buy and sell the holdings. You can get a rather efficient price for your holdings at almost any time.
4) Unit Trust (Mutual Funds): High Risk, High Return
An instrument whereby you pay fund managers a fee of between 0.5% to 2% yearly to manage a pool of money (fund). Essentially their main goal is to outperform the benchmark return Where it is justified if they can outperform the market, they should indeed earn that fee because they know how to navigate and invest in the market better than you.
5) Bonds: Moderate Risk, Moderate Return
A bond is a type of debt instrument where an investor loans money to an entity. The entity can either be a corporate or more commonly government body. The purposes vary but it is mainly to raise funds for a defined period of time at a defined variable or fixed interest rate.
if you loan the amount for a longer period of time, the % interest increases towards the maturity date. As a bondholder, you reserve the right to the future payout at the maturity date. Something interesting about bonds is that they come in various types such as a Bond ETF (where it is a diversified basket of various bonds traded on the market) or a Bond Fund (where it is an actively managed basket of bonds with a purpose to beat the bond index)
6) Endowment: Low Risk, Low Return
An endowment policy is actually dressed up as a life insurance contract designed to pay a lump sum after a specific term (on its ‘maturity’) or on death. Usually, the structure is one which involves regular payments into this endowment fund held by your insurance company which then decides to invest and bring in some returns. Therefore it is a mix of some protection and forced savings plan (with a little better interest than a regular savings account normally)
7) Savings: No Risk, Negative Return
This is the most straightforward of all the different options. Actually, this is not an investment option but it is planted in the illustration above to show you how much you could be losing if you put your money in a normal savings account and not touch it. I think it is clear that the main goal is to have enough rainy day/opportunity funds of about 6 months of monthly expenses in this account. Next, by optimizing for an account which gives you the highest interest rates (although usually ranging from 1.5-2.0%). We actually did a useful comparison of which accounts make the most sense for you.
Guys check out the related ideas as well, it will work for you !
