Singaporean Stock Market

The Singapore Exchange (SGX) is the only exchange operating on the stock market in Singapore. It is the result of the merger between the Stock Exchange of Singapore and the Singapore International Monetary Exchange. The SGX has 754 listed companies and a market capitalization of around 700$ billion. It uses the system SGX QUEST for quotation and execution. Among the listings are well-known and actively traded companies such as Singtel, DBS Bank, Keppel Corporation, CapitaLand and Creative Technology.

The main stock index for Singaporean stocks is the FTSE Straits Times (STI). It tracks the performance of the top 30 SGX listed companies and is widely regarded as the benchmark index for the stock market in Singapore. The STI is calculated and managed in association with the FTSE Group, which is owned by the London Stock Exchange. TradingView has tools like a stock screener and quotes dashboard to help traders find the best stocks of Singapore to trade.
