ATR Trend Run - Signals Alerts SL and TP by Tech Store OnThe script uses several ATR formulas for entering/exiting trades, support/resistance lines to take TP1 (take profit 1) and another ATR formula for TP2 (take profit 2). Everything is fully configurable to your preference, and you can back-test it via TradingView. You can also configure the indicator for signals during US trading sessions (with or without power hour), as well as taking profits/stop-loss session time(s), as well as to close a position at the end of the trading session no matter what. Also, you can turn all of that off, so there are no trading session/end of day limits and each trade will run until it either hits SL, TP1, TP1 > back to entry, TP2. Note: indicator is set to skip consecutive/opposite signals, while you currently have a trade open > if you hit a trend – ride it to the end!
For example: If you will be day trading SPY and you wish to close your positions no matter what right before the market closes (3:45PM ET > 15min before closes): Make sure to checkbox “Intraday – Close Position Before Market Closes” in the strategy/indicator Settings, so that you are alerted soon before the market closes, if you wish to continue holding the position – leave this checkbox unchecked.
SL: SL is set to be slightly above/below the signal candle, which is best suited for this strategy.
Strategy Take Profit Approach
While the initial position open and SL hit is always based on a closed candle bar (can’t do otherwise, as otherwise you will have 10s of fake signal alerts), there are 2 ways on trading this strategy in terms of TP1 and TP1 taken > back to Entry, which is based off Alert type.
You can switch this as you like within the indicator settings, “Checked: TP1 taken > back to Entry per Price Touch | Unchecked: per Candle Close”.
Candle Close vs Price Touch: with the Default method - Candle Close for an alert for TP1 or if price comes back to Entry after TP1 is taken will only be triggered once candle bar fully closes crossing the area, while Price Touch will alert when price touches the area before candle bar closes.
For example: your trade is running well, you grab TP1 and the price reverses and hits your trade Entry area. With Price Touch – you are immediately alerted to close your trade with no loss and with TP1 profit. With Candle Close - you will receive an alert only once candle bar fully closes on top of the Entry crossing it backwards, meaning it may lower your TP1 profit or even completely reverse the trade into loss in case it will be a huge candle bar for any reason. However, it may touch the Entry area, looking like the price is reversing, but then continue per initial trade direction, sometimes becoming a trend. So, while Price Touch seem like a more conservative approach, Candle Close can give you much bigger profits if you catch a trend, but you can always change it via the Settings.
Note: TradingView back-testing engine does not have a feature to open/close orders IMMEDIATELY via Price Touch trigger, but only when the candle closes after price touches the scripted area/line/etc., so you for the most accurate results, test your strategy out via Candle Close setting. Otherwise, decide yourself. I personally like more Candle Close since I can test it out via back-testing with the most accurate results.
TP2 is set per Candle Close as often the ATR trailing stop line will be hit and bounced off, so it’s best to wait until candle actually breaks it/closes through it.
Note: If you will be observing the strategy LIVE, during LIVE candle bar movement – it will look weird, like it’s placing an order after order during any trigger – this seem like a TradingView bug, but is only observational, once the candle bar is closed and you refresh TradingView it will all look correct.
Back-Testing
If you wish to do some back-testing, just modify the strategy/indicator Settings:
-----1) STRATEGY: This is for back-testing/experimenting with the script inputs.
----------a. You can setup a start date (date, month, year) from which it will start opening back-test trades, select a position size and select TP1 size, the idea here is to close half (or whatever you choose) portion of the trade once you hit your TP1, then to either close at small profit or to catch a trend and close the second portion of the position long way ahead from Entry, otherwise it will alert you to close the position at TP2, if price comes back to Entry, at reversal signal or at the end of US trading session if the option for it is checked. If you wish to close the whole position at TP1, just enter the same amount for TP1 to match backtest position size. Otherwise you can experiment with TP1 sizing – try it out!
-----2) Feel free to experiment with ATR settings and with S&R Left/Right bars, you may be amazed how results will differ and find some really cool combinations!
-----3) Make sure you select/de-select “Intraday – Close Position Before Market Closes” setting depending on what you are back-testing and on which conditions
-----4) Note: If you wish to do some deep back-testing (1+ years), use the “Deep Backtesting” feature within Strategy Tester on the TradingView as otherwise it may show wrong results or even fail to compute the results
Add the alerts
-----Right-click anywhere on the TradingView chart
-----Click on Add alert
-----Condition: ATR Trend Run - Signals Alerts SL and TP, by Tech Store On
----------o Right underneath the condition click on the drop-down menu and select “alert() function calls only”
-----Expiration time: Whatever you wish
-----Alert actions: Whatever notifications you wish
-----Alert name: DO NOT TOUCH THIS
-----Hit “Create”
-----Note: If you change ANY Settings within the indicator – you must DELETE the current alert and create a new one per steps above, otherwise it will continue triggering alerts per old Settings!
- Note: If you add the alert while the script is currently “In Position” it will not know that. So either wait when there will be no position open at all or close your position partially if the bot opens it twice bigger or so in case per script the bot will think it is already in position.
Note: Because of the slippage and the order processing time between TradingView, AutoView and the Broker (it’s usually about a second or so), it is suggested to not use a timeframe lower than 1min. The script is working really well with 1M/3M/5M/H1/H4 timeframes per my back-testing, but feel free to explore via Strategy Back-testing what’s best for the instrument you wish to trade.
If you wish to try this out for a week or so – please reach out and I will give you access.
Support and Resistance
Range SlicerThis is a tool I quickly put together to work along side of my round number and Quarter Theory Scripts. This script allows you to set a price range between to values and slice them up into equal price zones. Happy Trading!
Support & Resistance Trendlines with PP + Fib. Channel█ Support & Resistance Trendlines with Pivot Points + Fibonacci Channel
This script automatically draw support and resistance trend lines based on pivot points and add a fibonacci channel.
It will show potential patterns with the help of support and resistance lines as well as breakout target and pullback entry with the fibonacci extension and retracement levels.
It is based on atolelole's script, I only made it more configurable so please check out his script.
I added the possibility to change values and add additional retracement and extension levels.
I also made it customizable with the possibility to change lines color, width and style.
Support and Resistance Intensity ZonesSupport and resistance are often drawn using lines. This is too simple and doesn't give a clear idea of the market sentiment at these particular levels. What is strong support and resistance? What is weak support and resistance. How can either be defined by a single price point?
Using a simple, clean and configurable solution, this indicator not only shows these support and resistance levels as zones, it also gives them a colour gradient based on their intensity.
It does this by letting you choose the pivot highs and lows within a chosen range back. Then you choose one of two options to display how these multiple pivots at the same levels look. You can either group these pivots together into 'zones', where grouped pivots are all separated by a chosen price percentage, choosing how many zones to display, the most grouped pivots being the most intense colour.
Alternatively you display the pivots by 'gradient', where the closer the pivots are together in price the more intense the colour. As pivots diverge apart, the colour weakens.
Both of these options have to be seen to realise how much more there is to support and resistance than a single line.
MACD with Support and Resistance - Signals, Alerts, TP and SLMACD with Support and Resistance - Signals Alerts SL and TP by Tech Store On
The script uses MACD for entering/exiting trades and support/resistance lines to take TP1 (take profit 1). Both MACD and support/resistance lines are fully configurable to your preference, and you can back-test it via TradingView. Once TP1 is taken, you can either set the indicator to close the trade at the end of the US trading session day (4PM ET) or you can continue taking partial profits where you wish or just wait until reversal signal alert.
SL: SL is set to be slightly above/below the MACD signal candle, which is best suited for this strategy from manual backtesting.

Mastering Market Structure"Market structure first, always" - Mr. Anderson aka TrueCrypto28 right before he went on to master Kung-Fu
Understanding and identifying market structure is essential for successful and consistent profitability. No system is perfect, but trading in the direction of the prevailing market structure can reduce the likelihood of being caught severely offsides and can yield trades with tighter invalidations and greater risk-to-reward potential.
This script will automatically identify and plot the following:
Market Structure
Pivot highs and lows using the lookback left and right lengths are analyzed to identify major swing highs and lows to identify the current trading range.
Bullish structure is characterized by a series of higher highs and higher lows.
Bearish Structure is characterized by lower highs and lower lows.
Structure breaks when a bar closes outside the current trading range. Major swing highs and lows will update following these breaks to continue following the current price action
Current market structure bias, bullish or bearish, can be displayed in a table in the location of your choosing.
Structure is fractal, so seeing low time frame structure shift against the high time frame structure can identify the beginning of a pullback. When it realigns with the high timeframe structure, it can identify the beginning of the high time frame trend continuation. You can choose to analyze structure on any timeframe with this script and even add multiple copies of it to your chart each analyzing different a timeframes to easily find high quality trade opportunities.
Fibonacci Levels of the current trading range
These are included to help identify areas of interest for trade execution and profit levels.
We want to buy at a discount and sell at a premium. The "Wholesale Zone" can be considered below the 50% retracement level in bullish structure, or above it in a bearish structure.
When in a bullish structure, "discount" buy opportunities can be found below the 50% retracement level with the expectation of trend continuation.
In a bearish structure, more ideal "premium' sell opportunities can be found above the 50% retracement with the expectation of trend continuation.
Optimal trade entry (OTE) zone, between the 61.8% and 78.6% retracement can offer a great risk-to-reward ratio for execution of a new position in trending environments.
When trading sideways in a range, opening new buy positions near the bottom of the range or new sell positions from the top of the range are preferred. Midrange 50% level commonly sees some reaction and can be used as a primary target with further targets either being the opposite end of the range or lower support levels (see order block section).
Order Blocks
New Bullish and bearish order blocks are created and plotted with every respective market structure break. They identify the price level from which the most recent leg of price action that yielded the structure break began.
In strong trending environments, these levels should continue to support or resist price. They are great areas to look to enter new positions.
Order blocks can also be used as targets for your trades to avoid giving back unrealized profits as price tends to react off of these levels.
To keep your chart clean and the order blocks relevant, an order block will be automatically deleted if price trades through and closes beyond it. Otherwise, printed order blocks will remain on your chart until either it's origin bar is out of TradingView's maximum bar history allowance or their maximum box count allowance.
Pairing these with fibonacci levels, retracements into order blocks that are in the Wholesale Zone or even the OTE zone offer higher probability trades with more favorable risk-to-reward potential.
Swing Failure
Swing failure patterns (SFPs) arise when a candle takes out a swing high or low, but fails to close beyond it.
Again, pairing these with other features of this script like range boundaries, wholesale zones, OTE zones, and order blocks can help traders identify the best times to actually execute their trade as SFPs are commonly seen at points of inflection in price action.
Moving Averages
Up to 4 moving averages from the current time frame are available. MA type and lengths can be adjusted to your preference.
Up to 4 MTF MAs. By Default this is an EMA 200 as it is commonly used for trend identification and support/resistance.
These are included for confluence of trend direction and strength.
They can also act as dynamic support and resistance and so can be useful for trade execution if price bounces or rejects off of them or targets as price may do so when it reaches them.
Additionally, alerts have been coded for the following scenarios:
MS Break alerts will trigger on bar close when a break in market structure has been confirmed.
SFP alerts will trigger on bar close when the swing failure pattern has been confirmed.
Entering OB alerts will trigger as soon as price touches the closest order block.
Entering Wholesale Zone alerts will trigger as soon as price cross the 50% retracement level. This can be used as an early alert to identify assets that have undergone a significant pullback before potential continuation in the direction of the main trend.
Entering OTE Zone alerts will trigger as soon as price crosses into the Optimal Trade Entry zone between the 61.8% and 78.6% retracement.
This script is unique in the way that it tracks market structure, automatically updates as price action continues to develop, presents high quality areas of interest, and SFPs for trend reversal and continuation. Traders will no longer need to constantly monitor their charts or exhaustively update their alerts to find good trade opportunities. This script takes care of all of it automatically. Collectively, all of the included features can be used to build a complete trading system.
Auto Fibo Multi Timeframe [Misu]█ This indicator shows a Multi Timeframe automatic Fibonacci retracement levels.
This indicator is built using pivots from a user-selected timeframe to draw and orient the Fibonacci retracement.
Fibonacci analysis uses a logical sequence of numbers to predict trends and price action.
█ Usages:
The Fibonacci retracement is used to identify hidden support and resistance levels that an investor can use for entry, exit, and stop placement.
Depending on your usage, you can track breakouts above and below retracement levels to provide early entry points for major breakouts and breakdowns.
Higher timeframe Fibs allow you to have more relevant and weighted signals.
█ Features:
Choose Timeframe
Choose Fib levels
Color Fib Levels Individually
Color Fib Levels all in one
█ Parameters:
Timeframe: The Timeframe chosen.
Left Bars: A parameter used to calculate pivots.
Right Bars: A parameter used to calculate pivots.
UI Settings: Select Fibs levels and colors.
Swing Failure PatternThis script will remind you of a potential swing failure pattern (which is a grab for liquidity to go the other direction). You can't use this script on its own, hence the eyes to look for confluences ;-)
Eyes will appear when the current high/low takes out the high/low of the last (by default) 100 highs/lows and will close below/above that last high/low.
Extra settings:
- ignore the last x amount of bars
- choose a character instead of the eyes
- choose a color for the character
Happy trading! ;-)
Gap ZonesSharing a simple gap zone identifier, simply detects gap up/down areas and plots them for visual reference. Calculation uses new candle open compared to previous candle close and draws the zone, a mid point is plotted also as far too often it's significance is proven effective.
Works on any timeframe and market though I recommend utilizing timeframes such as weekly or daily for viewing at lower timeframes such as 5, 15 or 30 minutes.
Often price is observed reaching towards zone high/mid/low before rejection/bouncing. These gap zones can give quantitative basis for trade management.
Future features may include alerts based on price crossing up/down gap low, mid and highs. Feel free to message with any other suggestions.
WilliamTrendFollower StrategyThis strategy is based on signals from the WilliamTrendFollower indicator.
You can optimize the parameters of this strategy as you wish. I hope you get the most accurate result.
About WilliamTrendFollower:
With this indicator, we try to catch the trends in price. With continued use of this indicator, we expect it to eventually escape horizontal positions and catch up with continuous trends.
Combined with the WilliamsR indicator and the exponential moving average indicator.
The WilliamsR Fisher Transforms are combined with the ATR indicator to create a line that lags behind the moving average value.
Since it is a tracking indicator, we created a line that is more connected to the price and itself.
In this way, a curve close to the price line is obtained in uptrends and downtrends.
In this indicator, if you choose the parameters correctly, you can easily bypass the horizontal positions. This gives you a safe visualization of support and resistance points as well.
From the settings of these indicators, you can set the multiplier and the exponential moving average period.
It works in all time intervals.
But it was calculated without volume , instead it was created using fisher transforms, moving averages, and the average true range .
Pivot mtf semaphore support&resistance [LM]Hello Traders,
I would like to introduce you pivot semaphore mtf support&resistance levels. The idea is the same as my other S/R scripts to have a look at the important levels. The Semaphore is used to spot future multi-level Supports and Resistance zones. It is also useful to spot HL or LL or HH or LH zones. The script is based on amazing work of @LucF so really big thanks for your work on mtf line offsetting.
It has three settings:
First two settings are for higher timeframes
Third setting is setting for pivots on current timeframe
!!!! Very important is there is limitation in pinescript how many candles you can look back(4999) if you choose timeframes that are very distant from each other there is a chance that those lines won't show up
Hopefully you will enjoy
Cheers, Lukas
Smart Money Concepts (SMC) [LuxAlgo]This all-in-one indicator displays real-time market structure (internal & swing BOS / CHoCH), order blocks, premium & discount zones, equal highs & lows, and much more...allowing traders to automatically mark up their charts with widely used price action methodologies. Following the release of our Fair Value Gap script, we received numerous requests from our community to release more features in the same category.
"Smart Money Concepts" (SMC) is a fairly new yet widely used term amongst price action traders looking to more accurately navigate liquidity & find more optimal points of interest in the market. Trying to determine where institutional market participants have orders placed (buy or sell side liquidity) can be a very reasonable approach to finding more practical entries & exits based on price action.
The indicator includes alerts for the presence of swing structures and many other relevant conditions.
Features
This indicator includes many features relevant to SMC, these are highlighted below:
Full internal & swing market structure labeling in real-time
Break of Structure (BOS)
Change of Character (CHoCH)
Order Blocks (bullish & bearish)
Equal Highs & Lows
Fair Value Gap Detection
Previous Highs & Lows
Premium & Discount Zones as a range
Options to style the indicator to more easily display these concepts
Settings

Highs & Lows MTF: Allows the user to display previous highs & lows from daily, weekly, & monthly timeframes as significant levels.
Premium/Discount Zones: Allows the user to display Premium, Discount, and Equilibrium zones on the chart
Usage
Users can see automatic CHoCH and BOS labels to highlight breakouts of market structure, which allows to determine the market trend. In the chart below we can see the internal structure which displays more frequent labels within larger structures. We can also see equal highs & lows (EQH/EQL) labels plotted alongside the internal structure to frequently give indications of potential reversals.
In the chart below we can see the swing market structure labels. These are also labeled as BOS and CHoCH but with a solid line & larger text to show larger market structure breakouts & trend reversals. Users can be mindful of these larger structure labels while trading internal structures as displayed in the previous chart.
Order blocks highlight areas where institutional market participants open positions, one can use order blocks to determine confirmation entries or potential targets as we can expect there is a large amount of liquidity at these order blocks. In the chart below we can see 2 potential trade setups with confirmation entries. The path outlined in red would be a potential short entry targeting the blue order block below, and the path outlined in green would be a potential long entry, targeting the red order blocks above.
As we can see in the chart below, the bullish confirmation entry played out in this scenario with the green path outlined in hindsight. As price breaks though the order blocks above, the indicator will consider them mitigated causing them to disappear, and as per the logic of these order blocks they will always display 5 (by default) on the chart so we can now see more actionable levels.
The Smart Money Concepts indicator has many other features and here we can see how they can also help a user find potential levels for price action trading. In the screenshot below we can see a trade setup using the Previous Monthly High, Strong High, and a Swing Order Block as a stop loss. Accompanied by the Premium from the Discount/Premium zones feature being used as a potential entry. A potential take profit level for this trade setup that a user could easily identify would be the 50% mark labeled with the Fair Value Gap & the Equilibrium all displayed automatically by the indicator.
Conclusion
This indicator highlights all relevant components of Smart Money Concepts which can be a very useful interpretation of market structure, liquidity, & more simply put, price action. The term was coined & popularized primarily within the forex community & by ICT while making its way to become a part of many traders' analysis. These concepts, with or without this indicator do not guarantee a trader to be trading within the presence of institutional or "bank-level" liquidity, there is no supporting data regarding the validity of these teachings.
Trend/Retracement - ZigZag - New wayZigZag for Trend and Retracements - New way
It's another way to plot ZigZag based on lookback period for trend and % of trend lookback period to plot retracements.
█ OVERVIEW
Plot ZigZag, Trend lines, Retracements, Support levels, Resistance levels
█ Objective:
Draw ZigZag lines along with unbroken support and resistance levels. ZigZag lines are drawn for main trend and the retracements.
Main Trend – This is calculated based on lookback period.
Retracements – Retracements are calculated as 25% of main trend.
Support and Resistance line: The indicator draws 2 types of support and resistance lines
1. Un-broken – Once formed (plotted), these are the support and resistance which are not yet broken
2. Tested – One can also choose to see support and resistance lines which are tested but not broken. Tested support/resistance are those levels which are touched by high/low price but close price has not crossed the level.
█ How main trend point is calculated:
E.g.
Chart timeframe = 15m
Lookback period = 250
Retracement = 25% of main trend ( 25% of 250 = 62 )
A price point on a chart is considered as trend point if distance between current price and previous highest price is 250 candles
A price point is considered as a retracement if distance between current price and previous highest price is 62 candles. Please note retracements are calculated only after finding a main trend point.
█ Input parameters:
Zigzag Parameters
Use predefined Lookback – If checked pre-defined timeframe-based lookback parameters are used.
Trend lookback candles – If ‘Use predefined Lookback’ is unchecked then this value is used as lookback period.
Retracement % of look back candles– If ‘Use predefined Lookback’ is unchecked then this value is used for calculating retracement lookback period
Mark retracements – If unchecked only main trend lines are plotted
Plot support/resistance – To plot support/resistance levels
Show support/resistance tested lines – If checked tested support/resistance liens are shown on the chart
█ TF based Lookback period config (Defaults are set as specified below, One can change these defaults to use different lookback periods)
The defaults set here are used based on the chart timeframe. e.g. if chart timeframe is changed from say 15m to 60m then 60m chart defaults (i.e. trend lookback = 90) are used to plot the trend and the retracements. At the bottom-right of the chart, parameters used for plotting are displayed all the time.
Timeframe in minute – Default = 5m
Trend lookback candles – Default = 375 (~ 5 days of data)
Timeframe in minute – Default = 15m
Trend lookback candles – Default = 250 (~10 days of data)
Timeframe in minute – Default = 60m
Trend lookback candles = Default = 90 (~ 15 days of data)
Trend lookback candles for timeframe 'D' – Default = 30 (~1 month data)
Trend lookback candles for timeframe 'W' – Default = 21 (~6 months data)
Trend lookback candles for timeframe 'M' – Default = 12 (~1year data)
Retracement % of look back candles – Default = 25%
█ When and where one can use this indicator (Refer to chart examples)
To view support and resistance based on lookback period
To view ZigZag lines
One can use it to find chart patterns easily
Trend and retracement lines can help in drawing Elliott waves.
█ Chart examples:
1. Chart patterns can be easily identified - One can disable the candle charts which will help to identify and draw chart patterns easily
2. Trend and retracement lines can also help is analyzing charts (e.g. Elliott Waves can be marked based on trend lines)
3. Tested but not broken support and resistance lines can be viewed
4. You can select 'NOT' to plot tested support and resistance lines
5. Uncheck the Mark retracements to plot main trend lines (Retracements are not marked)

[ChasinAlts] SuppRe-me ZonesHello fellow tradeurs, I couldn't find one similar on TV so wanted to make it.. Took me a little while to figure some things out as I am in new coding territory with this script. I had a hard time finding ways to make only a partial zone/box disappear if price only crossed part of it. Nonetheless, I figured it out so I hope you enjoy the outcome. Now, allow me to take a second to first explain the utility that is this script...or at least expose my reasoning when I decided to go ahead with this little project and take the precious time necessary to learn parts of pine that I did not previously know how to deal with. Ultimately, I built this for the 1s-15s TF(except for the "Consecutive Bars/Large Bars" Boxes...Those were meant to use on both these second TFs and Higher TFs.... ). The reasoning behind all of this was to give me a more definitive answer to all of my questions regarding the speed at which it would take price to revisit areas that it very abruptly went to/left on a VERY short TF (like the 1sec charts)...or even if it EVER would). To determine this I wanted to draw lines starting at the end of large wicks, draw boxes spanning the entire span of large wicks, and lastly to draw boxes spanning the entire span of very large bodies. For this last one, not only did I want to draw a box on a single candle that possessed a large body but also if there were consecutive red candles in a row, their bodies could be summed up and if this summation exceeds the minimum body % threshold then it too counts just like a single large candled body would if it was larger than the threshold. All in all I really enjoyed this script and most importantly the data that it produces. What I found after coding the script was that (again on the 1 sec- 15 sec charts) was that price very quickly (relatively speaking I suppose) came back over these box/zoned areas and that the lines drawn from the tip of the large wicks would at some point in the near future act as very good support and resistance for price to either bounce off of or breakout from.
Now, with each of these objects you can choose to delete them when price crosses the object or have them continuously drawn on the chart...your call...but it gets awful messy sometimes if you let them continue printing.
Peace and love people...peace and love,

TradingWolf Smart Money
The TradingWolf Premium Smart Money Concept is a unique and enhanced selection of ideas designed to help give you an edge on the markets.
Within this one indicator you will have access to Fair Value Gap, Order Blocks, Break of Structure, Forecasting, Supply & Demand.
Below find each explanations on how to use each indicator
This script comes with the 'TradingWolf Premium' to get access, read the Author’s Instructions below.
There are extensive explanations on how to use this in our documentation on the website but we will give a simple overview here.
Order Blocks
There are several different ways people like to calculate order blocks, one of the ways we like is by using pivot points to identify levels of importance, from there we either highlight the highest/lowest closed candle or the wick. The user has the option to choose this in the settings.
As seen in the image above, you can see these levels are well respected and give people an opportunity to help where the market marker is placing their orders.
Fair Value Gaps
Fair value gaps can be a very useful concept in price action trading. They detect instances in which there are inefficiencies, or imbalances, in the market. In this case, we define imbalance as an instance in which buying and selling is not equal. This is often visualised as a large candle whose neighbouring candles’ wicks do not fully overlap the large candle. Below are a few examples of Fair Value Gap.
If price is in a downtrend and there is a fair value gap above, a trader might look to go short when that FVG fills. Inversely, if price is in an uptrend and there is a FVG below, a trader might look to go long when the FVG fills.
In this script we decided to highlight both types, one is simply marking up all technical FVGs which is the gap produced by the large candle, the other more commonly traded ones are market structure breaking ones.
These ones tend to be more respected so note they are highlighted in a separate colour to make them more visible.
If a FVG has been filled that box will dim away so it's not in your way.
ChoCh
‘Change of Character’ Hugely used by professional traders although they may not have heard of it called by this term. This is where price/market structure is trending in a certain direction but price starts to reverse.
This first happens when there is a break of structure, instead of another Lower High formed, price makes a Higher High like in the image above. This is where we highlight a break of structure or some people will just refer to this as the Choch line, once we have this we can look for an Order block / supply zone below to find an entry.
This is a hugely powerful tool dating back to one of the simplest and first concepts of trading where Market structure is King.
Peaks & Troughs
This tool helps you find potential reversal points in your support/resistance area, Simple candlestick patterns but incredibly powerful when used in confluence with our other tools.
ADR - Average Daily Range RobertsFXThe most overlooked indicator in trading. Average daily range shows you how far the price will move today if moved as on average. It's a great tool to calculate take profits to close within the same day.
ADR - Average Daily Range RobertsFXThe most overlooked but powerful indicator makes you see the markets for what they are.
You will see how much the markets move on average per day. This is fantastic info if you are an intraday trader and want to set your take profit within the average range, so you have as high a probability as possible of reaching your take profit today.
You can also trade reversals from ADR high and low. Very often the price changes direction back into the middle of the ADR high and low, at around 50%.
MarubozuMarubozu:
This code is written to identify the Marubozu candles in three different timeframe (30, 45, 60) - and there is an option given to the user for modifying the timeframe according to their wish.
Step to work with this script:
1. The three timeframe will work like this, If you select in chart 15mins - the three levels that you can select are 30, 45, 60, but if you select higher value like 30mins in the chart - you cannot select 45mins as there is a restriction on the code as it will display on the script of divisible by the timeframe selected in the chart.
2. Moving Average 100 is used along with the trend to see whether the immediate trend of the script is negative or positive which will help in taking the script for long or short.
Rules:
1. Always select the timeframe as 15mins in the chart and get the levels from the script.. Mark them in your chart as permanent levels and you can hide the script for further use, and don't reduce the timeframe to 5mins as the level gets changed.
2. The script will identify the High and low of the Marubozu and draws the horizontal line to help the users to see the support and resistance for the script.
3. Always try to trade above the 100sma and marubozu levels at the bottom - and don't look out for the trade where the SMA is very near to resistance or support (when you are short)
MTF MA Ribbon and Bands + BB, Gaussian F. and R. VWAP with StDev█ Multi Timeframe Moving Average Ribbon and Bands + Bollinger Bands, Gaussian Filter and Rolling Volume Weighted Average Price with Standard Deviation Bands
Up to 9 moving averages can be independently applied.
The length , type and timeframe of each moving average are configurable .
The lines, colors and background fill are customizable too.
This script can also display:
Moving Average Bands
Bollinger Bands
Gaussian Filter
Rolling VWAP and Standard Deviation Bands
Types of Moving Averages:
Simple Moving Average (SMA)
Exponential Moving Average (EMA)
Smoothed Moving Average (SMMA)
Weighted Moving Average (WMA)
Volume Weighted Moving Average (VWMA)
Least Squares Moving Average (LSMA)
Hull Moving Average (HMA)
Arnaud Legoux Moving Average (ALMA)
█ Moving Average
Moving Averages are price based, lagging (or reactive) indicators that display the average price of a security over a set period of time.
A Moving Average is a good way to gauge momentum as well as to confirm trends, and define areas of support and resistance.
█ Bollinger Bands
Bollinger Bands consist of a band of three lines which are plotted in relation to security prices.
The line in the middle is usually a Simple Moving Average (SMA) set to a period of 20 days (the type of trend line and period can be changed by the trader, a 20 day moving average is by far the most popular).
The SMA then serves as a base for the Upper and Lower Bands which are used as a way to measure volatility by observing the relationship between the Bands and price.
█ Gaussian Filter
Gaussian filter can be used for smoothing.
It rejects high frequencies (fast movements) better than an EMA and has lower lag.
A Gaussian filter is one whose transfer response is described by the familiar Gaussian bell-shaped curve.
In the case of low-pass filters, only the upper half of the curve describes the filter.
The use of gaussian filters is a move toward achieving the dual goal of reducing lag and reducing the lag of high-frequency components relative to the lag of lower-frequency components.
█ Rolling VWAP
The typical VWAP is designed to be used on intraday charts, as it resets at the beginning of the day.
Such VWAPs cannot be used on daily, weekly or monthly charts. Instead, this rolling VWAP uses a time period that automatically adjusts to the chart's timeframe.
You can thus use the rolling VWAP on any chart that includes volume information in its data feed.
Because the rolling VWAP uses a moving window, it does not exhibit the jumpiness of VWAP plots that reset.

HH-LL ZZAnother ZigZag, yes...
I believe though this concerns another angle/principle, therefore I wanted to share
How does it work?
Given:
source for level breach -> close
X breaches -> 3
Let's say this is the latest found 'lower low' (LL - blue dot under bar):
This bar has been triggered because 3 bars closed under low of previous 'trigger bar' (TB )
The high and low of this new TB will act as triggers
(aqua blue lines, seen in image above)
Then there are 2 options:
- again 3 bars closes under the latest TB , in that case the TB moves to that new LL.
- 3 bars closes higher than the high of previous TB
The high and low of this new TB act again as trigger
If a new TB LL/HH is found, the script checks previous LL/HH
and searches the highest/lowest point in between.
If necessary, the temporary highest/lowest will be adjusted:
Another example:
The last 2 points can change (repaint).
Yellow coloured lines/labels are set and won't change anymore.
Concluded:
In case of these settings:
source for level breach -> close
X breaches -> 3
once a new TB is found, the high and low act as trigger lines
- when 3 bars closes under that low , a new LL is found, this will be the new TB
- when 3 bars closes above that high , a new HH is found, this will be the new TB
and so on...
Settings:
source for level breach -> close or high/low - H/L
X breaches -> 1 -> 10
line style -> solid, dotted, dashed
show level breaches -> new found TB (blue/lime coloured)
show Support/Resistance (lines at the right)
repaint warning can be removed
show labels / lines
This ZZ can be used for Harmonic patterns, Trend evaluation, support/resistance,...
In this script, I also used new features
- text_font_family = font.family_monospace -> link
- display=display.pane -> link
Cheers!
Automatic Fibonacci Retracement + Golden Ratio | by Octopu$👑 Automatic Fibonacci Retracement on Specific Timeframes + Golden Ratio | by Octopu$
Fibonacci Retracement is a method of technical analysis for determining support and resistance levels.
It is named after the famous Fibonacci sequence of numbers: 23.6%, 38.2%, 61.8%, and 78.6%
These ratios provide price levels to which markets tend to retrace a portion of a move.
Also used as a potential spot before a trend continues (or reverses) original direction.
While not officially a Fibonacci ratio, 50% is also used.
Fibonacci Levels can be drawn between any two significant price points or time frames.
(Such as a High and a Low or also on Daily and Weekly charts)
The indicator will then Automatically create the levels between those selected points.
Golden ratio, also known as the divine proportion, in mathematics, is the irrational number:
(1 + Square root of√5)/2, often denoted by the Greek letter ϕ or τ
Which is approximately equal to 1.618.
(Two quantities are in the golden ratio if their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of the two quantities.)
That's The Magic of the Fibonaccis, as well the Golden Ratio itself.
And this is exactly where this Indicator by Octopu$ kicks in:
This indicator Automatically sets all the Fibonacci Levels within the Retracement selected.
On top of that, it Highlights the Golden Ratio for the Fibonacci Levels drawn.
Additionally, it sets the Golden Ratio as possible Support or Resistance level,
Doing so by having visual identification to the Up or Down side.
This changes the game! Along with Price Action, Trend Direction, Chart Analysis and other Indicators as well.
