Aspen Trading S/R Levels v2In Trading, Objectivity Trumps Subjectivity
“Every trader is a steaming hot bowl of bias stew and must maintain self-awareness and lucidity behind the screens as the trading day oscillates between boredom and terror.”
The above quote is from a good friend of mine and veteran FX trader Brent Donnelly. It completely nails the biggest challenge for new and even experienced traders: being as objective as possible when making trading decisions.
Yes, as you become more experienced, subjectivity, market feel and experience are part of one’s decision-making matrix, but early on you do not have that luxury.
If you start each day knowing that price action in the market is random it will remind you to think objectively. There are, however, repeatable patterns that occur again and again…..it’s your job to identify them.
That’s where Support & Resistance levels come in.
Definitions: “Support” and “Resistance” Levels
Many technical indicators and tools can be subjective and challenging to learn. This is not the case with support and resistance levels.
Support and resistance are terms for two price levels on a chart that appear to limit the security’s range of movement.
The “support level” is where the price regularly stops falling and bounces up.
The “resistance level” is where the price normally stops rising and dips back down.
The more frequently a price hits either level, the more reliable that level is likely to be in predicting future price movements.
Understanding Support and Resistance Levels
Remember, the more informed and objective we can be with numbers, the more confident we can be with our trades. That’s important because, although price action is random (a fact that has been proven time and time again), there are repeatable patterns we can use to get an edge.
Two of those objective data points we can use to gain an edge are support and resistance levels. These are two of the best tools we have when it comes to swing trading. Why? Because they give us strong data points that suggest where an instrument is likely (and unlikely) to go.
But this is really key: Arbitrarily cataloging each price level that appears to be relevant as a support or resistance level isn’t going to get you far. That’s why Aspen Trading takes a unique approach to support and resistance levels.
With Aspen’s Support & Resistance Levels, we measure where trades (prices) occur in terms of frequency. This gives us a sense of where market participants are wagering prices may go.
That’s about as raw and unfiltered as you can get in terms of displaying what has taken place. There’s no room for interpretation - this is raw data that can be used to get a sense of where prices may be heading.
Learning The “Four Sets” of Support and Resistance Levels
There are four sets of support and resistance levels that are part of Aspen Trading’s S/R framework.
Each set of support and resistance levels is unique to a specified period of time. We display each of them in different colors on our charts when we analyze trades to make it easy for us to understand the data as we get comfortable reading charts.
You’ll see each of these levels on display in the charts that follow below. The four sets of support and resistance levels are classified as follows:
There are four sets of support and resistance levels that are displayed by Aspen Trading’s S/R Analysis Tool. Each one is unique to a specified period of time that we then display directly on the chart. The levels are classified as follows
GREEN: displays 2 dotted lines (upper/lower)
ORANGE: displays 2 dotted lines (upper/lower)
RED: displays 2 dotted lines (upper/lower)
PURPLE: displays 2 dotted lines (upper/lower)
IMPORTANT:
What’s the distinction between the 4 color levels?
Essentially think of these levels on a rising scale of importance. While GREEN levels are certainly key, they do not hold the same level of significance as the PURPLE levels.

Trend LinesHello Everyone.
This is my first script on TV, hope you find it useful.
How it works?
- On each bar it finds last x (depending on your settings) higher and lower Pivot Points ( PP ).
- It searches for possible trend line from oldest PP to newest, once found it stops and draws the line.
- The higher the time frame the lower the number of PP needed. Play around with the number of PP and left/right bars needed to confirm a PP and you get different results.

Long and Short Signal_1hours [zavaUnni]This indicator is available in the 1 hour chart.
The Stochastic value of 1 hour of 3 types of length was requested, summed, and then the value was derived.
The blue line is the K and the orange line is D of the Stochastic.
The default is Stochastic, but when RSI is selected in the settings, it can be viewed as the relative strength index of the Stochastic.
If the K value crosses down at 100, a short signal is generated
Cross up below -100 and you'll get a long signal.
You can receive a ready signal by checking Position Ready in Settings.
Short ready signal when the k line goes up to 100.
Long ready signal when the k line goes below -100.
A small spread value of the candle relative to the volume is the principle that resistance has occurred.
Displayed the resistance value based on the average value of the last 100 candles.
The higher the value of the red Histogram, the stronger the selling.
The lower the value of the green Histogram value, the stronger the buying .
The gray histogram is when there's no buying or selling pressure.
Time Anchored Intraday High/Low TrendlineOftentimes, intraday trendlines that are started at specific times, e.g. 8:00am or market open 9:30am, are well respected throughout the trading day.
This indicator draws up tp 3 intraday trendlines that are anchored at user defined times, respectively at the corresponding candle's high and low points.
From there, the line*s xy2 are connected in a way that all following candles are enclosed.
Jurik-Filtered, Gann HiLo Activator [Loxx]Jurik-Filtered, Gann HiLo Activator is a Gann HiLo activator that has been smoothed using Jurik Filtering to reduce noise and better identify trending markets.
What is Gann HiLo
The HiLo Activator study is a trend-following indicator introduced by Robert Krausz as part of the Gann Swing trading strategy. In addition to indicating the current trend direction, this can be used as both entry signal and trailing stop.
Here is how the HiLo Activator is calculated:
1. The system calculates the moving averages of the high and low prices over the last several candles. By default, the average is calculated using the last three candles.
2. If the close price falls below the average low or rises above the average high, the system plots the opposite moving average. For example, if the price crosses above the average high, the system will plot the average low. If the price crosses below the average low afterward, the system will stop plotting the average low and will start plotting the average high, and so forth.
The plot of the HiLo Activator thus consists of sections on the top and bottom of the price plot. The sections on the bottom signify bullish trending conditions. Vice versa, those on the top signify the bearish conditions.
What is Jurik Volty used in the Juirk Filter?
One of the lesser known qualities of Juirk smoothing is that the Jurik smoothing process is adaptive. "Jurik Volty" (a sort of market volatility ) is what makes Jurik smoothing adaptive. The Jurik Volty calculation can be used as both a standalone indicator and to smooth other indicators that you wish to make adaptive.
What is the Jurik Moving Average?
Have you noticed how moving averages add some lag (delay) to your signals? ... especially when price gaps up or down in a big move, and you are waiting for your moving average to catch up? Wait no more! JMA eliminates this problem forever and gives you the best of both worlds: low lag and smooth lines.
Ideally, you would like a filtered signal to be both smooth and lag-free. Lag causes delays in your trades, and increasing lag in your indicators typically result in lower profits. In other words, late comers get what's left on the table after the feast has already begun.

Intra-variety Timeframe Floating Fibonacci Levels [Loxx]Intra-variety Timeframe Floating Fibonacci Levels is an intraday, intraweek, and intramonth indicator to be used for scalping on lower timeframes. The indicator paints the developing fibonacci retracement levels as they change overtime over the selected intra-variety timeframe chosen. This indicator acts as another way to gauge support and resistance levels.
What Are Fibonacci Retracement Levels?
Fibonacci retracement levels—stemming from the Fibonacci sequence—are horizontal lines that indicate where support and resistance are likely to occur.
Each level is associated with a percentage. The percentage is how much of a prior move the price has retraced. The Fibonacci retracement levels are 23.6%, 38.2%, 61.8%, and 78.6%. While not officially a Fibonacci ratio, 50% is also used.
The indicator is useful because it can be drawn between any two significant price points, such as a high and a low. The indicator will then create the levels between those two points.
Suppose the price of a stock rises $10 and then drops $2.36. In that case, it has retraced 23.6%, which is a Fibonacci number. Fibonacci numbers are found throughout nature. Therefore, many traders believe that these numbers also have relevance in financial markets.
Fibonacci retracement levels were named after Italian mathemetician Leonardo Pisano Bigollo, who was famously known as Leonardo Fibonacci. However, Fibonacci did not create the Fibonacci sequence. Fibonacci, instead, introduced these numbers to western Europe after learning about them from Indian merchants. Fibonacci retracement levels were formulated in Ancient India between 450 and 200 BCE.

SGX Nifty Movement During Indian Market HoursSGX Nifty or Singapore Nifty is a derivative contract of the Nifty 50 index which is the benchmark index of NSE in India. SGX Nifty trades for 21 hours in a day while Nifty 50 trades only for 6 hours and 15 minutes. Traders in India miss out on a lot of price action which happens on the Singapore Nifty. This code which is originally inspired from @Gustavorubi has been modified to track SGX Nifty's movements outside Indian market hours. This will help intraday traders to identify support and resistance levels which are not seen on Nifty 50 futures.
This source code is inspired from GustavoRubi's code on FX Sessions.

SuperTrend Trapping Candle StrategyHello traders!
How this indicator works?
The main functionality of this indicator is to find entry based upon SuperTrend indicator. This indicator helps us to find trapping candle to enter into the market.
What is a trapping candle?
A trapping candle is a candle that shows strength in opposite direction to SuperTrend. This helps us to enter in a trade before the move start in the current trend's direction. There are two types of trapping candles signals I have added currently:
1. Volume is high than previous candle in the opposite direction.
2. 3 candles of opposite direction with decreasing volume .
How to enter in a trade in uptrend market?
SuperTrend shows a green signal
A green triangle formed below red candle
Enter into the trade when price is above red candle high
SL could be place below red candle or swing low if it is near
How to enter in a trade in downtrend market?
SuperTrend shows a red signal
A red triangle formed above green candle
Enter into the trade when price is below green candle low
SL could be place above green candle high or swing high if it is near
How to avoid to enter in a trade in sideways market?
You can follow price action strategies
Or you can follow some indicator to find sideways market
Indicator settings and how to change?
ATR Length - For SuperTrend, this is default value.
Factor - For SuperTrend, changed to 2 to provide fast signals.
Candle Height - For trapping candle price, default set to 0.003% of the current price.
OmCrypto - PSAR with TargetOmCrypto - PSAR with Target
This script uses PSAR as it's main buy and sell signal with automatic target to take profit, entry and stop loss
It also supports alert so you can use it for bots
You can set your own period (timeframe) for the target lines in settings, default is 60 minutes (1h)
Wurucututu's ChannelThis takes the past 60 months highs and lows and average them to get the basis for this channel. The top of the channel is the highest price prints for the last 60 months and the bottom is the basis (i.e. average) divided by Pi.
This channel has more lines and from top to bottom those lines are:
Top of the channel is the highest price prints for the last 60 months (red)
Midpoint between the average and the highest prices for the past 60 months (light red)
Average of the past 60 months (black)
Same average divided by 1.5 (light green)
Same average divided by Fibonacci retracement 2.36 (green)
Same average divided by Pi (green)
This is only useful on assets that have 5+ years of price history. And it's on purpose. Also, unlike the top of the channel the bottom is derived from the average and has nothing to do with the lowest price prints for the same period. Therefore every green line tries to set a level where price could potentially bounce from.
Trending Bull Market
For a healthy bull market the midpoint between the average and the highest prices for the past 60 months is usually the place where we bounce and as long as the price keeps inside the red lines and the red lines are moving higher everything should be fine. The problems usually start when those lines start to flatten and we start closing below the midpoint between the average (light red).
Flattened Channel
When lines start to flatten I start considering the possibility for the price to visit the basis (black line) or even the next line below (light green line). Expectations should be adjusted accordingly, depending on the market conditions and the history of the asset class being analyzed.
Generational Opportunities
Both green lines at the bottom form a green filled sub-channel which I use as a place to consider generational bottom opportunities. Is expected to being visited very rarely with many years between occurrences.

tops/bottomsThe script gives market tops and bottoms.
How to use:
-In an uptrend market condition - the bottoms signifies the extent of price pullback and can be used for going long after bottoms
-In an downtrend market condition - the tops signifies the extent of price pullback and can be used for going short after tops
-In a range bound market condition - both tops and bottoms signifies the extent of price extremes in the range channel and can be used for going long after bottoms and going short after tops.
This script is designed after a heavy research done on fibonacci numbers and moving averages where 13 acts as the best reversal point of tops and bottoms, if the market goes beyond it we can adjust period with the next fibonacci numbers ie 21,34,55 etc. to know about the next turning point and trade accordingly.
Auto Support & Resistance With Wick Signals & Percentage GapsThis auto support and resistance indicator uses percentage deviations from the previous session close to calculate levels. It provides arrows as signals when it detects 2 wicks in the last 5 bars from a support or resistance level. Includes alerts for price crossing any level as well as real time percentage gaps from current price to the next closest support and resistance level. You also have the option to set up to 3 major levels of your own for any levels that are very important on longer timeframes that you want included. Those will show on the chart as well as within your percentage gap table with color coded background. All features can be customized or turned off to suit your preferences.
SOURCE
This indicator uses the previous session close as a source by default but can be adjusted to use the previous session high or the previous session low. I find the close setting to provide the most accurate levels.
SESSION
The default setting for the previous session used is the daily session but can be adjusted to use the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly session. Use longer sessions when looking at longer time frame charts.
SIGNALS
The signals by default are set to only show an arrow if there have been 2 bullish or bearish wicks off of a support or resistance level in the last 5 bars. This can be changed to one bullish wick off of support and one bearish wick off of resistance or it can be set to give a signal anytime a bar crosses a support or resistance level. This can be controlled in the indicator settings.
PERCENTAGE DEVIATION LEVELS
The default percentage deviation is set to 1% but can and should be adjusted according to whatever ticker you are using. For example use .25% or .5% when looking at forex intraday charts since they are not as volatile as other markets. For leveraged etfs used 1% multiplied by the leverage on the etf, so for SQQQ use 3% as it is a 3x leveraged etf. When looking at longer timeframes or highly volatile charts, set the percentage deviation to 2%, 5%, 10%, etc.
LINE COLORS
The color of the lines will change from red to green depending on if the price is above or below that level. You can customize these colors in the settings.
MAJOR LEVELS
If you have major levels of support and resistance from longer timeframes and your own charting, you can add up to 3 major levels that will show on the chart as well as show the percentage gaps in the table. The label for each major level will be colored to match the color of the line on the chart individually.
PERCENTAGE GAP TABLE
The gap table will update live with percentages to go from current price to the next closest support and resistance levels so you don’t have to calculate them manually. The position of the percentage gap table can also be changed within the indicator settings.
TURN FEATURES ON/OFF
There are 3 toggle switches so you can easily turn on or off certain features such as: the support and resistance lines, the percentage gaps table and the arrow signals.
LINE WIDTHS
You can also set the line width of all levels and the line width of the starting level within the indicator settings.
***MARKETS***
This indicator can be used as a signal on all markets, including stocks, crypto, futures and forex.
***TIMEFRAMES***
This automatic support and resistance indicator can be used on all timeframes as long as there is enough data for the session used.
***TIPS***
Try using numerous indicators of ours on your chart so you can instantly see the bullish or bearish trend of multiple indicators in real time without having to analyze the data. Some of our favorites are our Volume Spike Scanner, Volume Profile, Momentum and Trend Friend in combination with this auto support and resistance indicator. They all have real time Bullish and Bearish labels as well so you can immediately understand each indicator's trend.
Resistance/Support Indicator - FontiramisuIndicator showing resistances and support, based on pivots location
When a new pivot location is near from a resistance/support the latter gains weight.
You can modify multiple parameters :
Nb Max res/sup : Define the number max res/sup to keep in our res/sup history array. The greater it is the older bar index will be taken.
Nb show res/sup : Define the number of res/sup to be drawn.
Min weight shown : Define min res/sup weight to be shown. Weight is used to measure strengh of res/sup.
% range stack : Define price percentage change required to stack a pivot into an existing res/sup. Default is 0.015 = 1.5%.
Pivots are calculated with deviation parameter to validate with more precision.
Fontilab Library is used to code this indicator.
High/Low/Open/Close Daily, Weekly, Monthly Line
I wrote this for the purpose of saving time while marking up charts by automating the process of drawing and labeling lines at areas of interest on larger
timeframes while still having the option to change the style and size of the lines and labels to adjust for any timeframe and avoid a messy chart.
I also used this as an exercise in menu organization giving users every imaginable option and producing clean readable code.
- This indicator draws a line on the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly bar at the High, Low, Open and Close of each bar as price
tends to react when revisiting these areas.
- Each set of bars has an optional identifying label with its own color set that can be shown with or without the lines
price value, and has drop down menus for size and style of each set of labels.
- Each set of lines has inputs for line/text color, line width and style, and can be hidden if the user doesn't have the need for any particular timeframe.
- Lines and Labels with delete when a new line is created.
- I recommend going into Chart Settings/Status Line and turning off indicator arguments OR moving the script to the top
of the indicator list to avoid an obstructed chart view with this indicators arguments. When Pine allows, I will update it to hide them.
Contains some public domain code from T.V. manuals and tutorial for creating drop down input menus for options.

Order Blocks Finder By DrewAn Order Block is a technical analysis technique that tracks the accumulation of orders (when bullish) and distribution of orders (when bearish) of banks and institutional traders. In other words, it is an area or an indication of where big institutions would pile up their orders to enter the market – their order blocks.
If you know how order blocks works and know how to trade via order blocks, then this indicator will help you in finding order blocks by itself which you don't need to worry about finding any.
For settings, I personally use Box Length as 10 and Box Transparency 80. Hope this helps! Feel free to drop a comment for any questions :)
Would appreciate you all if you can LIKE and FAVOURITE this indicator.
