NIO is really struggling with the 20d. I feel like if this loses Thursday’s lows, I want to be shorting all pops afterwards. I would also look to possibly fade an opening push into the 38.60 area. You can see that was a pretty big level on Friday and you’ll have the 20d just above you as well.
A classic descending triangle pattern confirmed by decreasing volume.
Lack of buyers pushing price down.
Wait for confirmation of the trending line or support before you go long or short.
Daily logarythmic chart: We're in a large WXY structure and in process to complete Y with another (WXY). (W) hit perfectly our most likely target at the .618 fib extension and we completed (X) as a corrective move. To finish the structure our target for Y is the 100% extension of W at $146 USD.
NIO completed a WXY correction. Y hit perfectly the 100% Fib extension of W which is the most likely target. In addition we hit the 50% Fib retracement of the whole move and channel resistance. We're at a massive support!! MACD is about to crossover. Targets are $74.30 and $92 the 61.8 and 100% fib extension of the whole move.
channel drown in January, fib in October 2019... With the heavy demand in a new Tesla, NIO could be up for a gold rush if they manage record numbers in June (once again after May).
I consider NIO as the only real competitor to Tesla and take them more seriously since they have refocused their strategy last year.
Bonus: Opposite of that scam that is Nikola (NKLA)
