It operates through the Retailing and Food Production and Cropping and Milling segments. The Retailing and Food Production segment sells cold food chain products including beef, chicken, pork, fish, milk, dairy products, day-old chicks, and stockfeed. The Cropping and Milling segment covers the sell of wheat, soya, maize grain, flour mill, and bread. The company was founded by Francis Grogan and Carl Irwin in June 1994 and is headquartered in Lusaka, Zambia.
